FYI.

Shoutout to Justin for the callout to this on Twitter ([here](https://x.com/thepackagejg/status/1729523023802163537?s=46&t=SBW3XJi-eEDBr6FtvDfngg) and [here](https://x.com/thepackagejg/status/1729525767342563602?s=46&t=SBW3XJi-eEDBr6FtvDfngg)). Figured posting the whole table on here would be best so those who hate numbers that don’t conform to their preconceived narratives can’t go but, but, what about?

Yeah man this is shocking. Wiggins has been BAD.

Someone send this to Klay to cheer him up.

  3. Interesting data. Andrew Wiggins has been absolute dogshit, but klay has been terrible too although the data doesn’t indicate as much. Where’s Chris Paul?

Justin has been doing God’s work today. I’ve always said it’s just agendas and bias. He’s not nearly as bad as people here say he is. I would even argue that in Klay’s standards it’s not a bad start to a season.

Those stats should probably also put to rest the constant requests of benching Klay for Moody.

Is there one with Saric as the C playing with the other starters?

Can someone explain these numbers and how they might matter against, say, the casual eye test? Just curious and looking to expand my understanding.

That Klay on, everyone else off is something the eye test has shown me. He works really well in that ‘bench mob’ lineup (cp3/klay/saric/kuminga/x).

The problem that lineup ends up having when it struggles without klay is that moody isn’t drawing as much attention, and isn’t as aggressive as he needs to be in a lineup that doesn’t have many threats (kuminga/cp3/x don’t score efficiently on their own and definitely don’t shoot threes if gp2). This is the same reason I like Podz in these bench lineups as x, he gives some of that.

To be clear, love moody and think the world of him, this is just a comment about 5-man lineup crafting and having people compliment each other. Moody is a great player when your other 4 players already have all the bases covered, cause he can do everything well, but he’s not yet aggressive enough to carry the offensive load with often just saric as a secondary scorer. This is even see-able in the small sample of klay/moody on, steph/wiggins off, those are the minutes of the above 5 man bench with X as moody and they are solid.
