Another article which seems to misunderstand the age of consent in Oklahoma. If she was 17 and he 20 (virtually no way it all happened after he turned 21 in October), it would still be illegal.
In any case, not surprised in the least. I would expect the state has to follow up on something so loud. The poor girl is probably locally famous at this point and I feel for her.

My 82 year old Dad went to visit my brother in S. Cal earlier this year during what was the same time as All Star weekend in Utah. That weekend he was eating lunch in Newport Beach and swears that he saw Giddey and even yelled at him that he was from OKC. Giddey (?) didn’t turn around. I thought he was just being the crazy old man that he is, but I’m now positive he did see him
