It feels insane to say this when we’ve been at the top of the West for a full week, but the refs have been jobbing us lately like it’s 2016. When will they get the memo? The mulligan, Shai’s behavior, not letting Ant intentionally foul (ON OFFENSE!!!!) to get off the court, defenders literally stepping on KAT’s feet but that’s a normal part of defense and you just play on, but the world’s least egregious screen blows the play dead just to call KAT again on a rebounding technique we see Kevon Looney, Zach Collins, and Jonas Valuncunas earn multiple contracts off of? Calling SloMo for a FT balk when people leave the box early on literally every FT he’s ever attempted?
Proud of the guys’ fight night after night, but I wouldn’t want to get reffed as a Minnesota Timberwolf if I was a free agent
In a less whiney reaction, weird to see Rudy so glued to the paint in some of the more chaotic possessions in the 4th. Not the prettiest game, but man was it fun. That okc team has been fun to follow and the fact they’ve arrived at least a year, maybe two sooner than anyone would’ve expected is impressive. Nba product feels really good rn (besides the refs issue) and it feels amazing to be watching winning basketball. Rudy was phenomenal tn, as we’re probably getting used to seeing at this point
