    Siakam from three…

Just gonna point out a few things this team does that really fucking bothers me:

    1. Fly out at closeouts. Boucher always did this, but now the whole fucking team does it. Pascal’s been doing it a lot lately (he’s always done it to some extent but it’s worse this year??). Dennis did it on O’Neale who was cooking all game and hit a dagger 3

    2. CATCH THE FUCKING BALL. Idk why this is such a problem for our team. So frequently they fumble a pass and then they lose a clean opportunity at a shot or to make a play as the defence gets an extra half second to recover.

    3. MAKE YOUR FUCKING FREE THROWS. HOW IS AN NBA TEAM THIS BAD AT FREE THROW SHOOTING.

  3. We really gave up 15 points or so within 1:30 minutes.

  4. Siakam/Scottie/OG did not play well.

but I’m tired of this bench. Precious looking lost out there and Boucher repeatedly leaving 3 point shooters open. OPJ plays one game per week.

    38% FG / 34% 3P / 63% FT

basketball remains hard if you are terrible at putting the ball in the hoopz

  6. I stopped watching with like 2 minutes left and it was a 5 point game. I came back and we were down 15. wtf.

  7. GuessableSevens

It’s amazing how supporting the Raptors makes you hate basketball

  8. hoennking502

Anytime we play a half decent defense we are absolutely fucked lol

  9. freemoon23

The buzzer-beater we needed… at the wrong time. 😂

  10. OGnotAnunoby

Self inflicted mistakes always kill us we jumping at them like its 2016 curry out there smh

  11. Lookingforadvice1987

Well damn, these loses get more and more demeaning.

  12. Raptorsthrowaway1

Another close game that should have been winnable against a very average and beatable Brooklyn team. Our roster is incredibly unbalanced and we have no depth, this lies exclusively with the front office

However, not for the first time, you gotta question a lot of the coaching staffs in game management and schemes.

    * Where is this vaunted 0.5 offense? I dont see a lot technically different than Nicks system?

    * Siakam jacking (and clanking) 4 x 3pt attempts in the first? But we only get 6 looks from three (2 in garbage time) for OG?

    * The Precious experiment needs to be over. Bone head play after bone head play.

    * Hooking Boucher when he was hot? Keep him in

    * No Otto? He is actually an NBA level player.

Im not calling for his head it takes longer than a couple of months to implement your ideas. But the Front Office looks very foolish for pinning last year on Nick

  13. One of the most frustrating things Darko does is taking Scottie out late in the fourth. He was just heating up and then he takes him out.

  14. theorganicpotatoes

What is the actual goal for the team this season? Like i don’t understand what the raptors are trying to do. There is absolutely 0 chance of making it beyond the play-in, but we also dont have any draft picks, but we also are the 8th oldest team in the league.

  15. drewtheblueduck

I saw we shot 44% at the rim today. AT THE RIM. It is unbelievable that we are staying in games with the god awful shooting we have

  16. Genuinely want to know what the FO sees that makes them think Scottie and Pascal can play together.

These two don’t compliment each other. At all. Pascal on this team is completely useless off the ball, he doesn’t space the floor, doesn’t screen, and there’s already multiple guys in the paint. Please just move on from him already.

  17. awwwyeahaquaman

This is an energy/hustle team that has no energy or hustle 90% of the time

  18. PlumCantaloupe

Ugh, everyone played terrible today. No consistency.

  19. I just hope our record is bad enough to convince the FO to finally let go, but I fear our record will even out enough that “running it back” continues

  20. Ok_Subject_8312

I don’t think Royce O’Neal even broke a sweat. All of those attempts looked so easy. Absolutely horrid perimeter defense and waaaay too much over helping and crowding the ball handler

  21. DinoInTheBarnes

Gueye from the 905 should switch places with precious at center. I can not watch that guy play basketball again.

  22. AnAwkwardWhince

How does an NBA level team miss so many free throws, miss tap ins and miss many open 3s??

  23. Extreme_Ad_7594

Raptors offence is fucking brutal to watch. Its actually impressive we have 8 wins

  24. It pains me every time Siakam pulls up for 3 just as much as it pains me to see Scottie Barnes smoke a layup 🤦🏽‍♂️ This is simply put not a serious team. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get cooked by Booker tomorrow without KD or Beal playing. Watch some dude off the Suns drop a career-high on us lol. What excuse did we have to lose this game?
Nets were missing their top scorer Cam Thomas who funnily enough is from the same draft class as Scottie, DSJ (who’s been a solid defender), and Ben Simmons (former All-Star, All NBA. ROTY and All Defence player). What are we doing?

  25. The-Pharcyde

FO should be put in jail for assembling a low IQ team that cant shoot/score for shit in 2023.

  26. Barnicus57

This team plays with no heart. I’m done watching their games live.

  27. OG_Wan_Annunoby

Disgusting box score lmao looking like tour dates

  28. Lemonade1201

Masai constructed a team where 4 out of the 5 starters are below average 3 point shooters and people still think he did a good job?

  29. ImmaFunGuy

Anyone expecting better than a play-in team coming into this season does not really watch teams other than the Raptors. The writing has been on the wall since last year this core blows

  30. Just imagine if they sold Fred for literally anything, didn’t waste a FRP on a player who can’t shoot or dribble and can’t switch, and wasn’t about to lose Pascal for nothing

  31. lunchboxfriendly

Seems like I missed a frustrating loss. Lucky me. Seems like they need to learn to be resilient. Magic 8 ball says murky.

  32. passiveparrot

No more optimism for this team lol

Guess it’s time for the negativity train

  33. jjkiller26

Following this team is such a chore this season. I just really pray it doesn’t take until the deadline for something to be done about it.

And Scottie, please get back to the form you showed to start the season. The fact that scottie is struggling makes these games even harder to watch
