The Raptors look disjoined and dysfunctional in Brooklyn

The Toronto Raptors square off against the Brooklyn Nets. With both teams already eliminated from the in-season tournament, this is just a matchup between 2 teams struggling to keep their play-in hopes alive. The Nets are without bench scorer Cam Thomas. The Raptors should be largely healthy.

The Nets are also without Ben Simmons, but Cam Johnson WILL play. The Raptors are 0-4 so far against division rivals with 2 losses against Boston and Philly each.

  1. Raptors roster is not a winning team. All they do is drive to the basket, and try to score in the paint. All the Nets and any other team needs to do is play zone defense. They cannot score otherwise, they are a horrible 3 point shooting team, at least try to shoot mid-range shots to spread the floor. This team needs to trade, maybe someone with a consistent mid range shot or 3 point shooter to spread the floor.

  2. Is Masai now responsible for the best raptors team ever and the worst raptors team ever? lol. I’m getting late 90’s vibes 😂

  3. Do you think last season came down to Would you rather
    trade for Jakob
    or
trade Fred for Dinwidde + picks? And tank

We'd have a higher pick, and Dinwidde on a 1 year deal

  4. A Scottie and Koloko duo is something I was excited to see… I hope we get good word on Koloko soon, he seems too import to unlock Scottie's full abilities.

  5. For a NBA team.. they are terrible with their baskets (free throws, 3 point shooters, all of it )!!
Whats up.with their lack of energy, turnovers consistent teamwork is off

  6. Scotties touch has been bad for the last 10 games I hope his shooting comes back we need him to get more baskets too.

  7. The fact that when Scottie isn’t playing how he was, the first thing the media and fans are going is “he just fell off, it wasn’t sustainable, he’s not being aggressive” but when Pascal was struggling it was “he needs the ball more, we are limiting him”. The bias is crazy. Not saying I want the media to bash Pascal, but it’s being called so lame to me. I can’t even listen to the raptors broadcast anymore. it’s horrible. they don’t call it even and it’s all i ask.

Scottie made a jump in skill, and instead of rewarding him, now he has to sit in the corner to watch guys who are probably worse or not as smart as him handle the ball because they can’t shoot. And i get it, sometimes he should be looking for his shot more, but damn dude. this team needs some changes. the two players that this team should center around in the near future sit in the corners for this team. it’s a real shame.

People wanted Scottie to step up and he did and got punished somehow because other guys did not want to buy in.

  8. Rob, please make the "how not to be a point guard video", we need this organization to see it. Unless it destroys Dennis' trade value…

  9. Watching how this team is playing right now, is not what I expected to happen at the beginning of the season.
I really like Otto, and I think he really helps this team. I hope that he plays more.
I hope and pray that Koloko is doing well, and that he will be able to play soon.
Also I really miss Jeff Dowtin.

  10. There were so many games last season that were unwatchable. This was right up there. They were just brutal. I'm beginning to think that this is just a bad team. Of course, they will play better than this some of the time. But there is so much that is rotten about this team So many players are disappointing. I had high hopes that Precious Achiuwa would turn things around and make our bench that much better. My early season optimism and patience is wearing thin

  11. I'm glad I was at work. I'm still waiting for the Trent for Dennis or Scottie for Jak in the S5.
