Literally was some goof on weei ( Boston radio) complaining about the tournament and wishing the Cs would loose to get it over with. This is the after shock of rooting for patriots loses for draft place. When you start rooting for loses, loosing becomes ok! If this makes a game in November/December mean more I'm ok for it . Plus drafting high don't guarantee anything, Arizona took Josh Rosen top 5 pick and then few years later Kyler Murray and still hasn't accomplished anything. Jets took Sam darnold top 3-5 and then Zach Wilson a few years later and then signs a 39/40 yr old QB. Play every game to win or don't show up is how look at it. Plus that $500,000 mean alot more to the players #5/6 and down. Think Sam Hauser or kornet or even horford at this point don't want that $$$?
I live in Vegas so this in season tournament has meant a ton to me bruh really want us to go

One thing I’m very happy about is PP hitting his shots and shooting with confidence even when he missed!! We need those extra pts! Banton had some great minutes too. I see why Celtics like him, he’s a great defender and very lanky. He will have a big game soon just watch.
I'm used to soccer tournament formats and love late group stage dramas and all for this. If these guys don't want to be in this complicated mess then they should've played hard and not coasting through games and think they can just rely on individual skills to pull out a win at the end. If anyone who would benefit from this kind of lesson of not taking any moments for granted, it would be Tatum and Brown. But from what these guys say, I doubt they really learned anything.
personally, as a fan, i enjoy when my team blows the other team out and runs up the score. especially when it's the bench players running up the score and getting scoring opportunities. props to the NBA! liking this change to the game. i'd like for point differential to matter more in the regular season in terms of tie-breakers for seedings.
Stop trying to act cool and get with the program
There was a 1st year for a 4 round format once as well. If ur short sighted u obviously wont see the impact of being the FIRST ever winner of it. Point differential has to go tho, if this is what it promotes then theres no use for it other then the nba trying to get star players to play meaningless minutes in a decided game. There should be a derrick rose rule
