You can't win ball games scoring only 10, 17,15 points per player. Not one Raptor player scored 25-30 points in this game. Those numbers win ball games. At least 3-4 players have to score those numbers in order for us to win.
Since Kyle left this team has sputtered without a true leader. I think he had the team ready to play every night and the effort was there.
It looks like the team has taken the identity of whoever the leader is now. They’re laid back and inconsistent.
I’m not going to give up on this team in November as they’re still jelling. But maybe Jak needs to become the leader as he’s been the most consistent/reliable guy on the team. 🤔
If I'm Barnes I ask for a Trade. This organization, management and coaches are cluless. If Barnes played for the Nets instead of Ben Simmons, Omg.. He would be walking triple double every game, easily. Raptors can't shoot, there bench is Trash, why isn't Otto Porter playing, how dumb of a coach u gotta b not play that guy. Darko. I’m questioning whether you have something wrong in your head now. You have seen how Otto porter jr makes us better and is always a plus in his minutes played and you refuse to play him, and keep putting in mcdaniels who does absolutely NOTHING. NOTHING MY GUY. Stop this shit and put Otto in for 15-20 minutes a game and you instantly have a better bench. Wake up
How about putting your players in positions where you can use there strengths. Pascal in the post. Put Scotty in Jak spot for distribution and bring another shooter on the floor.
The one problem that will change everything dont play scottie with the bench we need play making and high iq and experience to run the bench Scottie needs to play with the starters to develop good
If you want to lose the game, all you have to do is tell the raptors is a Tournament game, or that the game is very important, and bam, they will somehow find a way to lose the game. Even when they play great for 3 quarters and 10 minutes, those final 2 minutes they will miss every free throw, every open look, and give up every rebound till the opponent drops one in their net. I don't know why its like this, they seem to play better when nothing is on the line, summer league, or against a team they are not supposed to beat. you put any expectations on this wagon, it falls apart, all 4 wheels, the axel, everything goes… they are a playground bunch, tell them they have no dogs, and they shake, poke them and they back away… so much talent but its all meaningless when there is no fight, no urgency and no ability to produce under a heavy load, a burden. Maybe we have a cast of supporting stars, and very few leaders, not sure yet what it is… wish somebody would step up, even Bosh up, this is the time, for leader to come forth… hrmmm wonder which young guy that is…. wonder if he will ever step up and pat his chest and say, "I got this fam, its on me, It's my fault", then they will all follow, and do likewise, and no one needs to point towards anyone.
Nice to see Scottie at least looking for his shots. Give him some time. But guys continued not able to hit FT and 3s. And Siakiam just keeps having long slump for 3s every year is ridiculous.
