  1. This is the same story over and over. Wait till the trade deadline unless the Bulls aren't asking for a king's ransom for LaVine. And we don't even want LaVine but the Bulls are the only team that seems to be open to getting rid of their best player. Toronto isn't trading with us.

  2. So you're basically saying that Zion Williamson it's three first-round picks better than Julius Randle? Ain't no way! I would give up Randle, one protected pick and a bunch of second round. You don't know how healthy Zion is going to be to empty all your assets for and he isn't proven. All he has is just potential. But hey so did Elton Brand and u see how he turned out

  3. That trade proposal is absolutely ludicrous. Zion is a great player when he plays but you are giving up way to much for hoping Zion will play more than 40 games. The Mikal Bridges trade I would love for the Knicks but unfortunately, I don't think the Nets would let Bridges go.

  4. Ideally it would be OG or Bridges but both BK and Tor will not be making trades with NY. It would have to be a star from the west. Maybe Zion or KAT. I would rather trade Randle for Zion package.

  5. I would only do the Mikal trade not the Zion one. Instead of 3 first rounders I negotiate for 2 first and 2 second. Then you wait to see if a superstar is available like AD. For a situation regarding a Non superstar I would trade Randle for Markenen. Can’t trade for Siakam because of the relationship with Toronto.

    Starting 5
    Brunson
    Barrett
    Bridges
    Markenen
    Robinson

    Bench
    Quickly
    Hart
    Divincenzo
    Sims
    Hartenstein

  6. In what world would a division rival, in state rival, conference rival make a trade with the Knicks?

  7. Bridges will not get traded to the Knicks unfortunately ahd our assets suck they heavily protected and not valuable. Fornier grimes and our own picks are what people want and only what we can trade. Unless they sure they not paying iq which would be terrible but they seem dumb enough to let him go

  8. Superstar would be great but adding a low cost, high impact SF to a starting unit of JB, RJ, Randle and Mitch (w/ IQ off the bench) would make NYK a ECF threat.

There’s a player that fits the Knicks’ needs and cost profile but he’s controversial: Miles Bridges.

Yes he comes with a lot of baggage but he’s going through counseling and in NY, he’s be close to family (Mikal) and can continue to get his head right.

Miles is on a one year, $7M deal and could be extended on a sub max deal, allowing Leon to extend IQ too.

It all depends on Miles’ mental health and his commitment to self improvement and making amends with his ex wife, etc.

    Something to think about…

  9. You are severely overvaluing Grimes if you think the Nets would trade Mikal for him and cap relief. Mikal is on a very good contract and plays 2-way allstar level. Knicks picks aren't that good, those protected picks from other teams are worse and unappealing.
