What's wild is that the C's technically should have kept doing it, because that's what the NBA has incentivized with this stupid set of rules for their tourney. But it was such a lousy thing to be doing to a guy in a meaningless game, I think Joe rethought it.
People acting like the Bulls had any skin in this game. Their coach is gonna be gone. Demar and Lavine, at the least, are gonna be gone. They are staring down the barrel of an entire season of garbage time, heading into a draft that isnt particularly noteworthy. Incentivizing a much better team to smash them isnt more entertaining. Keep the tourney, lose the floors, put the point differential tie break further down the tree.
