Hawks fan here… Hawks are too soft. All FLASH and no FIGHT. Most of the current NBA teams have that one player that's considered the bulldog on the team that gets the team riled up to win. Hawks don't have that.
Too much hero ball from Trae and DJ. Spread the ball around. Look at the Celtics stats today. Their defence in the paint is poor too.
I don’t care about offense if the defense is a center and Deandre Hunter. The schedule is a bit weaker but the hawks are desperate for better defenders. Yeah people are gassing up Jalen but with how much better he is than the other options, the drop off is massive.
The Hawks lost this game in the 2nd Qtr. They were up by like 10 or so points. Then they did what they usually do. Decided that they were nolonger interested in the game plan. And decided to just do nothing for like 6 to 7 straight possessions. Those possesions included TOs, lazy passes, not taking the open 3 and instead holding the ball and then driving into thre lane and getting a TO, bad shot attemptd, midrange jumpers, and bad defense and effort.
They have these mental lapses at least once every game. On Offense and Defense and sometime both at the same time. This one lasted about 6 to 7 possessions straight. The lead evaportated and we ended up going into the half down by 3. Clev pushed the lead to about 8 …. And After that. I guess their legs gave out.. And it was over….. They clearly had no interest in the rest of the game. Quinn could have really took them boys out mid 3rd cause they was done son. They was just out there.
It hurt when Brad said you probably know another hawks fan, I live in Australia and have never met another hawks fan 🙁
With Trae and Murray team should be much better. They show flashes but are not consistent. Time to make changes and have been time for awhile now. Just boring to watch.

When u shut down the paint with 16 blocked shots, that sphincter gets tight when taking jump shots, hawks are too soft in the paint, the hawks give up on avg 60-70 pts in the paint, the same problem last year we can't protect the rim
This game reveals what the hawks are missing, a low post game, this was a game we needed a player to create in the box, with JJ and Dre out players with length, it's glaring, one dimensional everything comes from the perimeter, even Traes ability to break down defenses originates from the perimeter going to the basket, if we had a low post player we would for e teams to rotate leaving shooters open, one dimensional team
