I know the NBA wants the Celtics/Lakers or the Bucks/Lakers, but I think it would be really good if the Finals features underdog teams. Some combination of the Pacers, Kings, and/or Pelicans. If it's the usual dominant big market teams that wins the in-season tournament, it won't stand out from the playoffs, and fans will quickly realize, this is just another way for the dominant juggernaut teams to get another trophy. Having unexpected teams win makes it more interesting, and wll motivate fanbases outside the usual LA, NY, Miami, Boston areas to care and think they have a chance.
