The first quarter they were absolutely fire in the Giannis/Dame handoff. When they were both moving towards the basket after the screen, the Heat were overwhelmed. This is the way they need to operate, especially early, to collapse the defenses. The you can do more pick and pop after they start cheating the lanes.
Less heralded, but Dame/Brook have some wild chemistry and it’s been awesome to watch Splash Mountain catch fire.
Khris made that risky pass to Dame in the back court at the end of the game that luckily resulted in Dame getting fouled and I saw Dame say something to him. Have to imagine it was something to the effect of you can take the ball up in the clutch too because Middleton brought it up the next possession when the Heats whole strategy was clearly do not let Dame touch the ball.
I feel like last night was the first time we saw Dame and Khris both being aggressive in crunch time. Really really encouraging stuff!
