How fast he was switching from in the paint to legitimate pressure on the perimeter (and not just chucking his hands into the air hoping to catch a finger on an errant ball), really opened my eyes on how important he could be for this team if he consistently plays well.

I’ve loved seeing him on the floor literally every time so far. He’s not had astounding games, but he’s hit clutch shots, played good defense, and hustles the entire time.

Ajax can be what Thanasis was to this team a few years ago. Whenever he’s on the floor he just exudes this infectious sense of energy and effort to the guys while being much more consistent on defense than Thanasis was
