Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is selling a majority stake of the franchise to Miriam Adelson and her family for a valuation in the range of $3.5 billion. Cuban, however, will retain shares in the team and full control of basketball operations. So why is he doing this? Is it to partner with Las Vegas Sands Corp. to build a casino and resort in the Dallas area? Is he going to run for President of the United States? No Dunks break it all down.

My guess would be because he's getting 3.5 billion for it?
So happy we are getting some people with Balls and common sense in the mavs Ownership. Tired of seeing the Mavs post lgbtq propaganda
Cuban running for prez and needs funding?
The sports gambling shit is getting ridiculous. it's already suffocating the broadcasts and it's only going to be getting worse with moves likes these….smh
He is running for president
KK
As a mavs fan im kinda excited to see whats gonna happen. Cuban is definitely up to something but im not sure we will ever entirely understand his hustling ways.
Mark Cuban purchase the Maverick's from Ross Perot.
He got one overrated championship and he gave up on his team. Sounds like a winner.
Good points. Not a bad time to sell with the potential the mavs have.
