  1. I've always thought klay was overrated. Sure, he has games where he gets hot, but he doesn't do much else besides score, so when his shots aren't dropping he's pretty useless…

  2. Klay will bounce back! The sky has not fallen yet! We are waiting for commentators to change their tune when Klay begins scoring 40 this season!

  3. I don’t think Klay on the bench is like gamechanging moody start like he buns worse than Klay

  4. Imagine having a career low 3P% of 37%… That's higher than most of the NBA players who've ever played.

  5. I don't know how Warriors fans feel about this.

What I do know is that it probably is time to break up the big 3 in Golden State. The offense has gotten stale and Klay Thompson just isn't himself anymore. Nobody is going to max him other than maybe Golden State.

So to me, better to trade him for Zach Lavine than have Klay walk in July towards a new team.

The Bulls need to reset the look of their team. I don't know if the salaries match up on a one for one deal or not. If they don't, I am sure they can figure it out. Zach Lavine offers a faster pace and more youth in his legs. He is a good scorer. As a second or third option in the Warriors system, he would put enough youth into it to make it functional the way it was just a couple of years ago. Sure they won't have as good of a perimeter game if they moved from Klay to Zach. What they do get though is someone more athletic who can get the ball out on the break and dunk with the best of them. What they do get is a faster pace that opens up more shooting opportunities for Steph Curry to have open looks.

Right now, they can't keep up with teams like the Pacers and Kings. 2 teams playing really fast pace, nearly showtime era Lakers basketball.

The Warriors can outshoot anyone. But, Klay has Clearly lost a step and isn't as explosive as he once was.

I don't see Chris Paul as the problem.

  6. As a looooong time Warrior fan, I watched them win in 1975, after trading Nate the great Thurmond. Any Warrior can and should be trade to better the team. Wilt was traded, Mulllin was traded. How are any Warrior not be tradable? As aways, it's who they get back in that trade that matters.

  7. If either of those two would not take a cut. I mean out of the 3 only Curry still very productive. Dray might be the heart of the team as they say but, for me and I could be wrong. He is more problematic with his antics…good if it is helping the team. I mean so far it is not. Klay , I like him but it seems his ego …sure he wants to prove he still got it…but we are only seeing glimpses of his former self…and the GSW need cash to get other players (big men would be nice) to help him continue…they still want the dynasty to be longer, take a paycut and set aside egos for now.,

  8. It just blows my mind how Manu GInobili was one of those guys who was so consistent that in todays game you'd believe he's being threatened with a gun to his head or loved ones if he doesn't come off the bench xD and yet was not the case, he just accepted it with grace and said "fuck it, I'll do my thing off the bench then!"
Why can players not wrap their heads around the idea that coming off the bench isn't a shot at their ego, but a shot at the championship at the end of the year?

  9. Warriortards channel like Hoopsreport will say Klay is not done. Warriortards channel will demand max extension for klay & deny salary cap limitation.

  10. Bench him and let him realize to do work out more and at least be good enough to be main 5 again

  11. The Warriors need to blow it up
Kerr is cooked, Klay and Dray are being enabled, and no one has any accountability.

  12. Warriors can decide to reward Klay with a big contract, it may not be a max but will be quite significant.

But by doing so, their hands a tied and they can’t assemble a strong contender around Steph Curry, who seems to still be in his prime.

By not being a strong contender, they will just waste away Steph Curry’s prowess and just fade away. They won’t at all be bad for the lottery but won’t be good enough to be strong challengers.

The dilemma is; do they want more championships when Steph is still great or just ride along with the big 3 until they retire?

  13. I wouldn't trade Klay or anyone yet, it's still really early in the season, and the Warriors are 3.5 games behind the 3 seeded Mavericks. They should continue to rely on their strengths of experience and continuity.

  14. everyone wants to talk clay. to me it's Steve Kerr coaching. if everything is for the team. yeah maybe everyone should think about what's best for the team. if you start moody for klay. Jackson Davis for Looney. so you have Steph Moody draymond Wiggins Davis
Kerr took out moody when he was shooting good. no one is talking about kerrs coaching. I have problems with his coaching. he stuck on bringing Steph back in a game at a curtain time in the game
    I don't like kerrs coaching
