Fourth Quarter Scottie & the Bench END Suns Streak

The Phoenix Suns venture to snowy Toronto, Ontario to take on the Toronto Raptors, losers of 2 straight.

The Suns are currently riding a seven-game winning streak, the NBA’s current longest active streak and Phoenix’s longest of the year as well.

Durant has missed the last two games due to right foot soreness. He was initially questionable heading into Sunday’s matchup against the New York Knicks and even went through pre-game warmups before not playing.

Allen was a late addition to the injury report after waking up with illness on Sunday.

Beal continues to deal with lower back tightness that’s plagued him since preseason while Lee is recovering from meniscus surgery after tearing it in summer workouts.

Yuta Watanabe appears to be healthy and available once again after suffering a deep thigh bruise during a scrimmage two weeks ago.

Drew Eubanks apparently has the green light after suffering an ankle injury that recently kept him out of action, too.

Suns-Raptors will tip just after 5:30 PM Arizona time. ESPN’s basketball power index gives Phoenix a 54.7% chance to continue their winning streak.

  1. every Raptor that played tonight gets a pass with the exception of MacDaniels, he was just plain garbage tonight.
Darko should have played Porter instead.

  2. Scottie's been increasing Jack Armstrong's "Get Dat Gaaahbage Outta here!" A couple of big blocks!

  3. Coach Mo 😂 this man is something else. Been dying for the last 5 minutes. Was not expecting that Dennis pic 🤣

  4. can’t help but feel like we are wasting some of scottie’s development by not giving him more usage/shots

we may win a few more games in the short term by playing thru pascal, but lose out in the long term

  5. Scottie Barnes would have crushed the league if he went to his draft projection of Golden State, pretty sure the league had their central scouting department try to bury Scottie's draft stock in the hope that he would slip but it didn't work, Raptors won the 4th pick in the lottery and locked in in Scottie even harder despite the rest of the league screaming at Masai that suggs is the projected 4th pick, if you were watching you'd remember how obnoxious the pundits were, how anyone other then Suggs would be a "draft fail" for the Raptors and of all the players in the draft only Suggs at 4 was a lock in their opinions. Don't ever trust the nba unless you're a Lakers or Knicks fan

  6. The team is an enigma. The last game was cringeworthy and this one was immensely enjoyable. I was encouraged by Scottie's performance and O.G. was a beast on defense. I was most encouraged by Precious who I was ready to write off. Unfortunately, I think the Brooklyn game is more exemplary of where we are as a team at this point in the season. Can we sort things out this season? There is certainly time, but I just don't know. I wish I was more optimistic.

  7. All the greats end up with many haters. Think lebron, Kobe, Jordan, even wilt back in the day. The reason ppl can hate Scottie and not siakem is simply Scottie has a chance to be an all time great just bc of his natural gifts whereas siakem was never thought of in that light so when he exceeds any possible expectations anyone had for his career even if it doesn’t reach those heights it’s still admirable. Whereas Scotty has expectations at this point so far beyound anything siakem is capable of touching in his career so ppl tend to root against that type of guy. Think of it in any professional setting. You have one guy who struggles and fights every day to get good at their job. And one guy who walks in and is instantly able to pick up every skill that the other guy spent months or years to get down to the same level. It’s natural to cheer for the underdog and easy to go against the naturally gifted regardless of how much either benefits or hurts the end goal

  8. Thank you so much for sharing the article you wrote! I never thought of the choices I make in that way before as you described. Changing things up, making more random choices is something I definitely would like to try doing! Can you share a link to the article?
    Thanks again!
Also, maybe it is just me, but getting tired of some of the Toronto media constantly asking Scottie about his amazing performances in 4th quarters! Scottie’s answer was amazing!

  9. Gotta get rid of Poeltl along with pascal. They brought him in to be a big’s big and he’s too soft to even be that. Can’t have a 7 footer crowding the paint for others if he’s not going to be dominant in there himself
