  1. First off, “ADJ AVG” represents the average when the high+low outliers are removed. Other than that, I feel like there are two takeaways for me here, and Im interested in what conclusions you guys come to.

    Here are mine:

    1) Shai’s usage needs to come down in order to increase gas tank late in playoffs

    2) Can one of Chet or Jdub hit roughly 23 points/game within the next two years? If so, we do not need to add another star, and would therefore benefit more from spending our draft capital on extremely high quality role players (think Aaron Gordon on Denver, Wiggins on GSW, Marc Gasol on the Raptors, Ray Allen on the Heat, etc). If not, then we need to use our draft capital for a star.

This is why I don’t get the giddey hate. Yes, in an ideal world he gets closer to 20ppg instead of 12 but it’s not a necessity. If he helps out getting boards like he normally does and can continue being a great inbound and general passer his role is valuable enough to warrant starts. His defending is average which is an issue but he just turned 21. Don’t get people writing him off. If poku or dieng started averaging giddey numbers this season people would be praising them.

Our second best and third best players in chet and jdub have played a combined 105 games

    Maybe just maybe

    We wait a little bit
