Im not actually sure how to read this. “I didn’t know if it would present itself, but the rule, and what I told them…” indicates that he told them to foul if they catch it like they did. In which case, nah, it’s not on him, it’s on the players. If he’s saying that’s what he’s told them in the past, but didn’t tell them tonight, then it’s 100% on him.

It sucks but if he is truly adaptive as he wants to come off and what we’re hoping for better for it to happen now than later in the season.
