Breaking Up The Bulls: Keith Smart’s 5 trades

Not the most realistic thing (Bulls won’t make 5 million trades probably, likely don’t trade ayo, and I don’t see mathurin being traded for LaVine) but generally this is how the blowup should go as a rough outline.

Yeah this would be a dream scenario for the bulls, but i doubt many of these trades would go through. I also don’t like dealing Ayo at this stage. He is one of the only bright spots so far this season.

I also really doubt the clippers are interested in trading Zubac for Vooch. Both are average level centers, but Zu is better on the boards and they don’t really need another scoring threat. Are they really trying to dump Russ?

I still think the warriors are the perfect partner for us. They should want both zach and caruso. They have young guys (kuminga and moody) and have a couple picks they can trade.

I’d love mathurin or dyson as a tank squad

I think Mathurin is more realistic than you think. Very talented and athletic, but do think he is limited in many areas.

Weirdly similar to Zach, Zach is just a proven and matured bucket getter. If the Pacers are looking to make a “run” then I think they pull the trigger.

I’d do probably all these trades except the Ayo one. Just cause I feel Ayo has that motor and since he’s from Chicago, he’s gonna give it all which might give him the edge over Okoro for me.

Coby/Mathurin/Dyson/Jalen/Zubac with PDub, Ayo, Clarke and Kennard off the bench is a decent young tank team.

We can even finish bottom 4 and maybe get a top 6 pick. But knowing AKME and Reinsdorfs, they’d probably just trade Zach, and extend Demar.

Trouble is, the other team would never do any of these trades.

I thought the Memphis one was ok for Zach but then saw it was for Demar. Zach’s gotta go. He’s the problem, and at this point, he’s the problem on literally every level.

Man if Mathurin is on the table, get that done. He’d be at least fun to watch!

I don’t think there’s any team that’s giving up a blue chip prospect for Lavine.

Also, the Clippers aren’t moving 2 of their top 6 for Vuc.
