i'm happy to see some defensive-minded guard next to KG. with Markannen back, and Clarkson on second line we can start winning some games against decent teams.
If you think playoffs are possible this year, you are way more optimistic than I am. I think there is pretty much zero chance getting over 30 wins this year. Trades will happen too late (and most likely won't be impactful enough anyways). That said I would like to see Kessler, Markkanen, Fontecchio, Agbaji, George as a starting line-up when everyone is healthy and eventually trade THT, Olynyk and either Sexton or Clarkson.
I honestly don’t know how THT and Sexton can be on the floor at the same time., both 100 mph. THT needs to stop trying to be like Micheal Jordan with those out of control drives and throwing up those reverse layups. No shooters on this team except LM. Unwatchable at this point.
The only thing I can say to Minnesota is just wait till you get to the playoffs. Not sure if Rudy has improved but he’s virtually unplayable.
You wanted explanations on coaching has to take some blame for this. Hardy's success last year had a lot to do with Mike Conley. Player development is horrible since Johnnie Bryant left. Kessler, Agbaji hasn't taken the next step. I look at Minnesota and man they fleeced the Jazz instead of the other way. Gobert, Conley and Alexander Walker for Kessler and THT and some draft picks that will be quite low in the future.
