Look, we do a lot well, but letās be honest here, the fact that we can regularly score 130 points and still not be comfortable with that score because thereās a 50-50 chance the opponent has scored MORE than that is embarrassing. The defense has to be adjusted or weāll never be able to win consistently. The fact that we drafted a guy who projects to be a top tier defensive player and sits at the end of the bench all game certainly doesnāt help. Nesmith isnāt doing anything world beating at the backup PF spot, so why arenāt we seeing Jarace? A ton of questionable coaching decisions so far, even with a team I believe is talented
We drafted Jarace Walker at 8th (technically 7th) to address our defensive and rebounding issues, and drafted ben Sheppard to be a solid (ready-to-play-now) type player, and with his game likely to replace Buddy Hield as he doesn't fit the timeline. Not only have we not played our two first round pick rookies at all(with our main one being our literal need and super talented/potential), we have our promising young star on the tightest leash imaginable. Bennedict Matthurin had a great rookie year, and when given oppurtunity, has shown that same potential and flashes this year yet when he makes one mistake he gets sat. BUT, players like Buddy Hield can check in and make mistakes 5+ possessions in a row and not get taken out, better yet, take more shots. I like Buddy Hield i'm not dissing him, but it just makes no sense to me that our young team we have been building and developing is getting somewhat neglected. Tyrese is playing like an MVP, he does need another star, but us trading for a Siakam for what it may take would not put us past teams like Milwaukee, Boston, maybe even Philly. I don't feel like we have to trade for a star rather then develop our players into potential stars and picking up a guy in the offseason with our new cap (looking at OG, and Bruce likely gets his option declined which would free up 20m). Idk, its just a little frustrating Walker needs to get reps, even if its just 10-15 min a game. Sorry for the dump yall just thinking out loud.
Carlisle is A complete Buffoon idiot. He lost the Game by keeping Hield in. He's going to lose the season and the locker room if He continues to start Him.

Now He scapegoats Mathurin. It's not Mathurins job to integrate himself. It's Carlisle and Tyrese's job to integrate Mathurin.
At this point KP and Larry Bird need to intervene. Buddy Hield IS NOT A starter. Buddy Hield shouldn't be sniffing the 4th quarter.
This loss was one million percent on Carlisle. He completely blew this Game. I hope they Lose every game that Buddy starts going forward until someone intervenes

Fans are upset, I get it… I was upset after, the Portland game, I posted some things that I regret. There was some bad calls in that game. NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO QUITE!!! We have to continue to LEARN and get BETTER!!!! My expectations for this Team was probably unrealistic.. I still LOVE the Pacers!!!! And the organization!!!
If this team would get a fire under their ass to play some defense, we could beat anyone. Even if that fire only upped their Defense a little. Thatās what sucks. Itās right there
Hield was 1-9 Toppin had 20 plus balling out….and 5 minutes left in game u take Toppin out and leave Broke Buddy in…why?….only 7 point lead??????? Luv ya coach but u scream defense however u take defense out and leave broke in.
This team has a LOT of maturing to do. Buddy and Hali bitching at each other while Hali is balling and Buddy is BROKE…..locker room issues….Buddy a little Jelly of Hali fame?
