Lil Wayne sounds like the typical fan. Yeah AD’s offense has been inconsistent, but defensively he’s still that guy. The biggest reason the lakers made the WCF last year, was the defense, which AD anchored. I do think that the injuries have taken a toll on him and slowed him a little. He doesn’t look as nimble to me as he did during that bubble run and the early NO days. The guy legit moved like a wing out there, not seeing that as much.
Yall gotta stop this lol and trade ad for what? The team will get worse most definitely and no matter the trade scenario, you will lose your defensive indenity

AD is a strange superstar. 4-5 years ago his jumper was right up there with some of the best in the league so it makes sense why people are demanding more consistency OFFENSIVELY. But I also think his greatness is truly on the defensive side of the court. The Lakers have to prioritize placing more offensive pieces around him to offset his inconsistency. but if AD’s on his game and he shows up on both ends, the lakers are gonna be tough to beat period.
If the Lakers trade AD, they need to trade Lebron and everyone else since they're too old to be a part of a rebuild. I wouldn't trust the Lakers to properly draft a star in the lottery though so they won't do any of that. You can't trade a star and expect to get another star of equal or better caliber in return
