[Highlight] Jokic draws the offensive foul on Nurkic in the post

In a back and forth old-school low post battle between former teammates and friends, Jokic draws the offensive foul on Nurkic as they fight for position down low. Nurkic would later be disqualified from the game due to foul trouble.

  1. That first shove by Jokic is a huge foul. Nurkic withstands it (couldā€™ve easily let himself fall to the ground) and Jokic falls to the ground on a lesser move by Nurkic shortly after. Donā€™t like this call at all

Foul on Joker then foul on Nurkic immediately followed by a flop by Joker. Call the foul on Joker in the beginning or let it play on without a whistle.

They call basically any meaningless contact out of the paint, but :

    – in the post you can basically put an armbar in the back of the post player without any problem, and if you just fall down you’ll get a call

    – on drives you can basically reach across the arms of anyone who looks strong enough to handle it without anyconsequences

It’s hilarious but it feels easier to get a call on a jumper then on actual agressive plays, and it really sucks

Lol Broadway theatre levels of flop

  5. Harassmentpanda_

Jokic flopping skills are mad underrated

  6. Did post-defense always used to be this floppy? It’s not just a thing from this clip but I feel like the way teams/players defend post-ups so often features a flop and I genuinely don’t know if it always used to be this way. It kind of seems hard to imagine with how big a part of the game post-ups used to be.

The fact that people here seem to think that Jokic never flops is proof people don’t watch the games.

Bit I personally found funny was like the second or third play after this, Nurkic tried a flop and then KD did.

Overall though the refs for yesterday’s match were just wildly inconsistent

Loved watching these dudes go up against each other yesterday. Super fun game even with the outcome not being in our favor.

Iā€™ll take more of these games anytime, with healthy rosters next time

  10. I def donā€™t miss Nurkic getting the shittiest whistle ever against Jokic

  11. messyartshooter

shaq would foul out in the first quarter against Nikola Flopovic

  12. InFa-MoUs

Idk Lebron got called for a pretty similar flop the other day..

  13. Hopefully Joker recovered from that vicious, brutal attack. Prayers up. šŸ™ šŸ’• šŸ¤² šŸ„°

  14. Idk about flopping (this is def flop) but Jokic pushing everyone all the time

  15. Looks like a defensive foul to me.

The refs let Jokic get away with murder so fans and analysts can say ā€œactually heā€™s not that bad at defenseā€

  16. Jay-El_From_Krypton

iā€™m a huge Jokic stan but iā€™ll even say that was a foul on jokic at first and then a hilarious flop for the charge. i was cracking up when he did it lol

  17. Prestigious-Rock201

Odd this has barely any upvotes or commentsā€¦ hm wonder why that is

  18. Alone-Information-35

Joker had that Happy Gilmore in the batting cages stance lmao. ā€œ364 more days till next years hockey tryouts I gotta toughen up, YAAAAAAAAA!!!!ā€

  19. The NBA should legit be embarrassed by this. Joker making a joke of the actual rules.

  20. How was this not the easiest flop call ever on Jokic or a foul before Nurkic lowered his shoulder?

  21. DankTriangle

Such an egregious flop imo. These guys could truck 95% of the NBA and we’re supposed to believe one of them can send the other flying? Sick joke imo

  22. Jokic legitimately looks like heā€™s getting ready to fall backwards before he gets shoved or is that just me? Like he braces and lowers and seems to fly back

  23. barktothefuture

Refs are really holding this league back. Every game. Ever quarter. Hell almost every possession there is something obvious to everyone but the people in stripes.

  24. Glowwerms

Iā€™m pretty sure the very next possession Jokic did barreled into KD and there was no call

  25. Ok-Ask8593

Jokic got all charged up for that flop šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

  26. The Jokic flopper narrative is finally taking off. Few years too late. Does this all the time. Gets mad, does something to retaliate physically, doesn’t get called for it, then flops when the player he retaliates against responds, gets the call. The leagues new baby is untouchable.
