Zach is too old to be playing this bad. He can't post up, he cant defend, he cant shoot, he cant rebound, he cant pass, he cant block shots without fouling. Hes just a bad player. Its not like sochan where hes young and has the excuse that hes playing out of position. Zach has no excuses. There's no hope for him. There is not one team in the NBA that would even THINK of having him as their starting center besides the San Antonio Spurs for whatever reason. Once we trade him, his NBA career is over and he knows that. Just look at his eyes every game. He's mentally checked out and insecure. At least when Sochan is playing like trash he always keeps his confidence and doesnt back down and keeps FIGHTING. Zach is a loser. Thats who he is.

The sheer lack of defensive accumen or intelligence has been pretty eye opening I get having lapses but the Spurs are having some of the worst quarters since stats have been tracked

Lineup change is needed. Sochan is actually getting better as a guard. That could pay off. But I haven't seen Zach Collins improve at all as a Spur. He's not a starter. Branham is also not a starter.

Collins ended up with a -17 in productivity…that’s like 7 games now ending like that…he is trash!!! I hate to be this way but really another tank season I'm fine with. This team had 0% chance of winning a playoff series so the better chance at a better pick the better.
Also are we sure they're not fully tanking like last year. They've just had so many close games and leads that seem to coincidentally disappear in the 4th Q. Either this team is the biggest group of choke artists or the organization is playing it smart.

Play Champagne more and run an offense similar to Denver. Put Sochan at PF, Wemby at center. Bring Tre Jones back to starting PG. Have Keldon and Collins run the second unit. Play Wesley as the back up PG.
