I like Trevor and this channel and have followed for a while but he has been going a lil soft of late on calling it like it is imo. Maybe wanting to not criticize too much to get more love from the franchise or parlay into a gig with the team. I get it. Do ya thang. But I really appreciate hearing the truth about what we all are seeing on the court.

I think the rotation philosophy should be focused around these main assets
1. Defense! And our defense should always have 1 rim protector (AD primarily ofc, Hayes backup), at least 1 POA defender (Vando, Cam, Max) and 1 weak side rim protector (Wood, Bron, Hayes).
2. Defense AGAIN! Our guards should always be paired with at least 1 of our POA Defenders- AR/ Dlo and GV with Vando/ Cam or Max
3. Shooting- As long as Bron is shooting 40pct from 3 and shooting well on midrange we have to have 1 more shooting threat- so 2+ shooting threats- at all times
4. If the 3 is a specialist then that weakness must be covered by another specialist (Vando and Dlo, TP and Rui – need a POA defender here too).
5. In crunch time we need to spam
– AD clear side post up
– Lebron/ AR PnR
A better record than last year at this point with more injuries. I got a good feeling about this team. Dlo is still the X factor for me. If he can score consistently in the playoffs chalk it up. #18
This team cannot be evaluated just by the numbers! When you have a AR Reaves playing too many minutes! He’s not built for that over a long season! He’s young , but not seriously athletically gifted! So he’s getting worried down on defense! He’s more effective with less responsibilities! Christie was not being played at all by our coach for now!!!! I feel sorry for Jalen Hood! He’s got nba ready defense, but like Christie would not be developed right!!!!!!!

Remember that AD, Wood, Hayes lineup that looked unstoppable for about the 8 possessions they were on the court together for? They were on a pace to outscore opponents something like 160 to 70. That was a fun stat.

Nobody talks about why Lakers players shoot so low from 3 the last few seasons when they arrive here in LA .. it’s their offense that’s built around Lebron getting his … we need better ball movement, to hit the open man, and more plays and sets for other players, The lakers don’t utilize guys like Rui and Taurean correctly cause every thing is based around Lebron getting his offensively hence why we see this terrible 3pt % from especially new players .

Lakers have been torched badly on defense so they need Cam and Vando's defense in the backcourt and on the perimeter so I would put both in the starting lineup with LeBron, AD, & DLo.
I think with the lakers injuries specifically it is the players they got for defense and rebounding (vando, cam, and rui) and scoring for rui.. they've been back to basically playing 2 guard lineups becuase prince is basically a 2-3 vs 3-4 especially defensively.
The most balanced lineups with defense, shooting, size, and rebounding is (1) LeBron, Cam, Vando, Rui, and AD lineup & (2) LeBron, Max, Cam, Vando and AD.
now we have 5 wings again in lebron, vando, reddish, hachi, prince
Its erks me when some people down on AD and say he cant defend and cry about his games when he isnt scoring more than 20pts. Hes the anchor of our defense for crying out loud. Its hard for him to play both sides when the rest of the team is play like shit defensively. AD isnt the issue its the coaching staff and the team around him. So annoying.
I don't believe at all that Prince will improve his shooting this season. Maybe 34% at best.
