There are some miserable fucking Pels fans out here
I’m as disappointed with losing this game as much as anyone, but can I just say some of y’all are downright embarrassing in the game threads. Constant bashing of the players and just whinging without adding anything constructive.
Yeah the Bulls aren’t a great team, but this team is playing on a back to back, and they’re on the road. Every team in the league is 9% more likely to lose on a b2b and those stats are even worse on the road, some of you act like every player is shit if they don’t play like prime Kobe and like we’re entitled to win every game we play.
Yeah we’ve got some stuff to work on, but that’s hard when the team hasn’t had a consistent starting 5 all year due to injuries, appreciate for once in our history we actually have a good team for once and try to enjoy the games.
Ima cry myself to sleep
we are one of the worst back to back teams. and we always play down to the team we are playing. When do we play detroit cause if we play like this that streak finna end.
Horrible defense in the 2nd half. That travel call pissed me off. Oh well come into Monday with something to prove.
Death, taxes and the Pels reverting to .500 ball. Something has got to give.
This team is what their record says they are… mediocre
When I go to sleep, I like to imagine an alternate universe where refs call fair games. The pelicans are perennial contenders in this dream universe
Terrible loss. Bulls are a bad team and are missing Zach. Zion on paper played ok, but him being so passive when playing with the bench unit is a big reason we lost. Not a good game for him at all. BI needs to shoot SOME 3s, especially with Trey, Ryan and CJ out.
I think if I stood on an NBA court for 29:58 then 3 defensive rebounds would eventually bounce to me without my trying
Everytime we lose it’s because of rebounding. We have a real problem with teams that can protect the paint and get boards.
Remember when they won 3 in a row without CJ after losing 5 of the first 7 he missed and people said start Dyson and bring him off the bench?
6-2 with CJ, 5-8 without
BI *has to* take more shots from 3. He just has to. Ending the game without even attempting a shot from behind the arc can’t happen
Defense was non existent 2nd half, Coby White made everything and that was the game. Zion and BI have to be more selfish in games like this when you see others are struggling. 15 shots each is just way too little. That letting role players cook works at home but on the road, the main guys have to do the lifting
I don’t know if it’s Zion playing passive or him just listening to the coaches. I do feel like Zion should be taking more than 15 shots because he is literally unstoppable when he gets going
Unserious team. Idk what else there is to say that those who know, know.
BI (and Zion to a lesser extent but an extent) having 0 3pt attempts, ESPECIALLY since CJ and Trey are out is inexcusable. Coby White had the same amount of 3s the Pels did (8).
Zion can’t be paired up with Zeller and two non shooters. BI needs to be matched up with Zeller going forward.
I mean it took coby white turning into prime Steph curry and Zion being terrible defensively but these games keep raising questions about the role players, whilst trey and cj being back alleviates some issues, we have two backup pgs who can’t shoot, one of which is undersized and gets tunnel vision, and can’t be played with certain people and naji the backup 4 who is again inconsistent offensively and plays like a game of Russian roulette, we need to get a more consistent option of the bench if we are truly to contend, I’d say trade for Caruso
Jose awful performance need to be mentions
I seriously need an explanation for that bullshit travel they called.
That was a game changing call and it was 10000% not a travel.
B2B, short handed, and the bulls couldn’t miss. That’s just the way it is some nights.
Aside from that defense, Im tired of Jose and Naji not passing to Hawkins more. Whenever Z and BI drive someone is bound to be open, it is just that extra passes that will lead him to have open shots. Herb did it and Hawkins able to shot open 3 but just miss.
Hawkins has like 3-4 open looks but didnt even get the ball. For a 3 point specialist and has great off ball movement, we still dont look for Hawkins which is frustrating to watch.
love making excuses after every game we should win. cant wait for another play-in game
Knew the over reactions would be strong. Back to back crazy shooting variances, the Spurs didn’t have enough talent to do anything with it. The Bulls had the advantage of no Trey or CJ and Pels on a back to back.
Why is this even a thread?
Guys it’s a back to back. It was over before it started. Are you new here or something?
If everyone is healthy, Jose and Hawkins may need to be out of the rotation.
The problem with Jose is that he believes he is something he is not. Same with Naji, but at least Naji can do more due to his size. Both should be benched the moment they start taking the ball out of the hands of the better players. Jose today looked like he was thinking he was Nash or Kobe
It is incomprehensible that this roster constantly hovers around 500.
Fire Willie Green. I’m tired of this shit.
