Not surprised. A lot of similarities. Pascal, Scottie and OG. Still bad bench. Addition of Jak and Dennis offset by loss of Fred and learning a new system

Oh boy, the season where Pascal and Fred lead the league in minutes per game, Scottie was 9th and Gary was 14th.

compared to 3 years ago, same old team with no decent shooters. FO fleecing the Canadian fans for years

didn’t have siakam for awhile, not the same team at all

Didn’t Pascal miss most of those 20 games

Back in 2006-2007, the Raptors were 23-23 and finished the season at 47-35.

The bench is killing them. 0 margin for error

that was a really interesting season looking back…Scottie better than expected and i was happy we had a guy who simply was in convo for ROY (remember he was supposed to be a project), people were arguing Fvv > Trey Young, Precious rep’d us the best in all star weekend lol, struggling against an easy 1 week schedule post all-star but then getting hot in that tough west conf trip. Fred injured but Pascal and Scottie got hot with Precious making 6’9 experiment work, OG casually stepping into quiet 20ppg playing off those two. We also had those Miami OT games, Gary 30pt games. Really fun season looking back but the Thad trade was foreshadowing of Darko times ahead.
Just remembered the Brooklyn games while typing this up, Scottie screaming at KD after he tried to go shot for shot with him man I think that was the game where lot of us understood what kind of prospect we had on our hands. Also remember thinking im gonna sleep early when we were vs the lakers but Scottie was going off and i kept getting texts about it so i said f it and watched it, think we lost that one after being up huge in the first half..my memory sucks might be combining 2 diff games together. Around that time Cade came back, Mobley was getting Tim Duncan+KG comparisions, Jalen was putting on huge scoring numbers and ROY became extremely competitive but our boy was on top, that was a good feeling. Come to think of it I think lot of people turned on Scottie last year cuz ppl were still high off that feeling. However, for whatever reason Scottie needed to take a step back before taking two steps ahead, we gotta appreciate this current Scottie year and not count our chickens before they hatch
Feel like there was more but a lot more amazing moments but most of it is repressed away by memories of the season that followed

Or we could, you know, rebuild around our 22 year old future superstar.

They started 9-11 and they never forgot.
