Great defense from Obi and very good playmaking from TJ. Also good positioning and timing on offense from Brown, Nesmith.
The shot-making and FG % in the second half was insane. It's unsustainable and, quite frankly, should be ignored.
P.S. Turner was also very good on both ends. And I still have no idea why Buddy starts instead of Nesmith or Mathurin. Hield still sucks.
Good defense! Great game. Also, good strategy to recognize poor defensive players and go right at them on offense.

The first (& probably only) credit to Carlisle for coaching this game the way he should have the first game. The starting lineup should be Haliburton, Brown or Mathurin, Nesmith, Obi, & Myles against the Celtics to avoid another defensive catastrophe like the first game.
Darn, Obi is capable of being more than one dimensional; wow, it’s amazing what he can do given some playing time (to the dumbass Knicks & all the Obi haters & deniers!)😜

If this team is going to make the playoffs Tj needs to be the backup point, Nesmith needs to be the starting small forward and brown at shooting guard. Please put Buddy on the bench.

Obi was absolutely phenomenal in this game. Great team win
Toppin had one of the best offensive games of his career, and it was still outshined by his defensive performance. Great game from Toppin!
McConnell was brilliant. I love how that guy is always ready to play. He got the ball where it needed to go, which was oftentimes just straight into the basket. He is such a great counterpoint to Haliburton, while still sliding perfectly into the system. 11th Man of the year, no contest.
The Reason ? Still fast, but tougher without Haliburton, led by TJ, BROWN, NESMITH, MYLES and BEN MATH. Not saying that they are better without Hali. Just saying that if Hali can play tough on D, the team could be #1 on offence and 20th on Defense and actually win some games.
Nesmith is shooting an incredible percentage for 2s and 3s. His defence is great. He needs to play more.

McConnell is incredible. Obv the Pacers still need him. What a luxury. Nembhard should take notes.
It’s gonna come down to defense with this team, period. They have studs on offense, and can make it happen any night, but they need to learn how to lock up teams.
