  1. No trade! The coach just need to call better time outs when the other team goes on a run. Plus we haven’t built any continuity because we weren’t a full a team all season and manage to go 11-9

  2. Man, that's not how it works dammit! Lebron led teams never just figure it out. As soon as there's some adversity, it's welp, time for major trades! We have a new team every year by the halfway mark. What happened to all the guys we signed during the off-season that were to make us so great!? This shit is OD. I can't wait until Bron leaves already.

  3. If I am Pelinka I'll definitely go for Caruso and Delon Wright, too. I'll also not wait and see and get it done now rather than lack the time to build chemistry later. I don't think DeRozan is affordable enough for is to not lose too much depth. LaVine's contract is way out there. There is no way you can do that without having a max contract that doesn't fit to trade with on your own team. But we should absolutely fight for Caruso and give them something the is very enticing.

Here is my idea about how to pull Caruso off:

Taurean Prince, Christian Wood and Max Christie plus our first round pick is the only thing I can think of, which could possibly get the job done. Taurean Prince is a bad shooter, when he has to work hard on defense. He's not getting plays run for him either. It's always the surprise catch and shoot opening and he isn't making those. His shot is just too slow. In theory he would be great, but the lack of defense and bad shooting makes him useless for us. Reddish has way way way better ratings in all the lineups. And we can play Reddish at the 3 just as well as the 2. We need that athleticism way more than a theoretically good shooter. Christian Wood has been okay and certainly helps, but we really don't have the minutes for him, Vando and Rui on this roster. So while he is a great min vet guy in my opinion, he will probably make Chicago want to do it more than DHS or something else that can't be used in the NBA. And the salaries clearly show whom LA really values. Rui was amazing in the playoffs and we know that he shows up when it counts the most. Can't say the same for Wood. And we can't even trade Vando if we wanted to, so clearly he needs playing time.

Then trade Gabe Vincent with the two 2nds for Delon Wright. That's another criminally underpaid und underutilized player, who has great perimeter defense and can shoot, just like Caruso. Delon is also a playmaker and not a bad one off the bench either. So he has elite defense, good size and shooting and can be a ball handler. That's exactly what we need if we send Gabe packing. Then we got another two open roster spots trading 3 for 1 with Chicago. I think we should pick up Terrence Davis and Jay Huff. Jay Huff is better than Hayes and can space the floor like Wood. He is also very underrated.

That'll completely transform our perimeter defense and give us a lot better shooting. We can also finally get stops again. Would be like going back to Caruso and KCP imo. And that might very well be exactly what we need to match up with Denver as well. We could put Delon on KCP, Caruso on Murray, Vando on Porter and Davis on Jokic. That matches up a ton better than what we werde doing before.

    D'Lo / Caruso / Cam / Lebron / AD

Delon Wright / Austin Reaves / Rui Hachimura / Vanderbilt / Huff

JHS / Hodge / Terrence Davis / Castleton / Hayes

    Lewis / Fudge

And in my opinion we should waive Lewis, Hodge and Fudge and get back Mac McCLung, Wenyen Gabriel and Montrezl Harrell. They can at least play in the NBA, when everyone is out due to injuries. Then we'd have the following roster:

    D'Lo / Caruso / Cam / Lebron / AD
    Wright / AR / Rui / Vando / Huff
    McClung / JHS / Terrence Davis / Gabriel (2-way) / Harrell (2-way)
    Castleton / Hayes

  4. I don’t care what trades or changes are made because the minute they join the Lakers they start playing like hot steamy garbage. Oh and better have a plan B and C because we ALL know deep down that AD will any day now sneeze and injure himself. This team very weak mentally and some physically to.

  5. this team quits and sucks lakers goal is too pay too much for lazy and complaing team!! boring team too much dribbling and lebron shoots too much austin r is slow

  6. I feel the Lakers do need another big vs trying to trade for a player at this moment…mainly someone to get in the way of bigs like Jokic, Sabonis, and Sengun. Dwight was aces in the bubble vs Jokic…maybe give Boogie Cousins a go?

  7. Looking at the lakers and thinking championship is delusional. Best player is 39 smh bron does defensive breakdown then just looks at whoever on the team is close to him….pisses me off so much I can’t even watch

  8. Lakers do not need a big….. Gabe for Caruso is all they need, and they might not even need that

  9. Dude lame as hell talking about we don’t need a trade!! Lakers have the weakest guard rotation in the whole NBA!!! Neither DLO or AR can push pace and they both get out rebounded and out hustled just due to their lack of athleticism!!! I’m convinced that AR cannot guard any one player in the league!!! Like absolutely no one!! He’s a easy bucket every time and with a trade we can just do better

  10. The problem is this team needs a A1, not A2s, 2nd options or role players. Lakers doesn't have enough assets to even put on a trade package for a trade that is realistic. A1 means players with level of Giannis, Embiid, Luka, Curry…etc. No A1s are available on the market and even if there' one, the only asset the Lakers can entertain a A1 trade is AD and even if they put AD in the package, they'll still get significantly outbid by other teams. So, can a non-A1 trade make the Lakers better? Yes, marginally. Is that improvement enough to win a title? No.

  11. As a 7 footer Jaxson Hayes is our 2nd Center behind AD, he has the potential to lock in and be a good rebounder once he gets consistent minutes from Darvin.

A legitimate trade target should be Indiana’s Buddy Hield. Trade package of Gabe, JHS, 2nd rounders and maybe cash compensation should be able to move this deal. Buddy is a high caliber scorer like Zach Lavine but for a fraction of the cost💰. I envision Buddy doing well at the 2 Guard position alongside Dlo, LBJ, Vando & AD.

  12. You have to leave the team alone right now. Dlo has to stay, we have no other playmaker besides Bron. So I'll be mad like I was about Alex but reeves in a deal for DeMar
