  1. I'm not convinced Michael Grange understands b-ball

Regardless, not a surprise that guys lower down the bench aren't as valuable. In other news, water is wet.

  2. The teams weakness is not in the starting 5.
The real weakness is within the second unit.
-Gary Trent Jr. is not having a good season so far which is surprising as he only signed for another option year.
-Boucher is up and down and honestly overall is funny that he has not gained any body weight in the past 3 years and really gets bumped around on defence when covering a big man.
-Flynn to me has been the most disappointing overall considering his playing time. He misses coverages and switching on defence, am I the only one who sees this? On offense it seems like the team only has four players on the floor when he is the guard . He consistently misses open shots when they are really needed to keep the game close.
As for Otto Porter he has overall played well but for some reason keeps getting benched along with the other 2 vets on the team, still confused about that one.

  3. Drako is a development Coach. I already see improvenemnt in most of the players on the team. If Masai makes a trade will they be good enough to beat the top teams and win the championship? I don't think so, so stop freaking out evereytime they lose a game.

  4. My own feeling so far is OG is the one that should be on the trading block. Just like in past years he still does 1 bad play for every 2 good plays. Taking silly fouls, called for a charge, stepping on the line, etc.so frustrating.

  5. I would like to see changes to the Toronto Raptors happen to improve shooting and build younger around Scottie Barnes. I see a potential trade with the Miami Heat as doable. It would improve the Heat and make them more of a legit contender. They are in a Win Now situation given the age of key players on their roster. I suggest this to start:

    TORONTO RAPTORS:
Pascal Siakam (PF) $37.8 M (1 Yr) (29 yrs old)

    Total Salary Moving: $37.8 M

    MIAMI HEAT
    Tyler Hero (G) $27 M (4 Yrs) (23 yrs old)
    Jamie Jaquez Jr. (G) $3.5 M (4 Yrs)(2 Yrs Team Option) (22 yrs old)
Caleb Martin (SF) $6.8 M (2 Yrs) (28 yrs old)
    1st Round Pick

    Total Salary Moving: $37.3 M

The money balances. There would have to be adjustments to roster spots for the Raptors. Overall, I like this trade and keep in mind that Pascal Siakam is on an expiring contract which does impact his value in the market.

  6. I feel bad for darko..like to have pros who literally cant shoot..and the bench is bad..like when they come in u know its going to go south

  7. Better to trade for young players, draft picks, along with matching expiring player – than watch Fred VanVleet walk and get nothing. Or pay Pascal the max.

  8. OG isn't doing well after
    his finger injury Last
    8 games he averages 13ppg 58.6% FT
    GTJ is doing better with
    his foot injury wasn't
    practising for 2 weeks
    with the team but
    both of the players will
    step up and do better👍🔥🇨🇦

  9. Zach Lavine is not the guy.
Siakam for Hield is the type of trade the team needs – a shift the power to a guard position, just not Lavine. He disappears often like Siakam.
Siakam at 37 mil per, is not a good value, based on playing game in and game out like a superstar who gets paid that amount. Sure there are bad games, but Siakam, has one good one, and three disappearances. Just like last year, just like FVV did last year. We needed Spicy against the Knicks and Nets, and he was nowhere to be found.
It's Scottie, Schroder, Poeltl's little minutes, and OG's defense, keeping us in the game. The rest of the team, is hit or miss – mostly miss. And zero three point threat, while a 40% shooting vet with a ring sits pinned on the bench.
NEXT: this combination off the bench needs improvement – Achiuwa, Flynn, and GTJ – all inconsistent and not that good due to the other NBA standards on thier benches. Nick Nurse was right, Flynn and GTJ suck. Flynn is barely serviceable, the fans and media get excited when he hits a 3 ball every third game. You won't make a jump with Flynn as your next PG off the bench or GTJ as the 6th man of the bench.
This team is 3 quality guards short – get Scottie help before he decides to walk.

  10. Imagine if the front office was competent enough to balance the roster and get shooters to fit in Darko's offense.

  11. What are we buying, and with what ? We can’t just trade guys with next to no value and get a player in return that’s going to put us in the mix with the Celtics and Philly so what are we buying ? This team is a bottom of the eastern conference team. Last season we were a bottom of the east team and still is. That’s the sad reality some can’t except! No wonder other fans are starting to call this fan base delusional. The reason why most of our fans can’t understand where we actually are is because most of them simply don’t know this territory. The raptors have been a playoffs team for most of their life so they’re delusional to where we currently are. A lot of our fans are young and don’t even know who Carlos Delfino is. Some of us that’s been around can spot treadmill territory because we’ve been here before! This is treadmill territory!!!!! This isn’t a winning team! 🤦‍♂️Our current bench right now is arguably worst than the bench we had during the Baynes season. This isn’t an easy fix like some of you think. People think we can just trade Precious and Flynn, or Porter Jr and Trent and get some kind of allstar level player that’s going to drastically improve this team to put us in the top 4 🤦‍♂️ are you guys living in reality ? I guarantee the whole season will go exactly like this. Win, loss, win, loss, and linger around a play in spot. This team is poorly constructed and it’s going to take more than just trading 1 or 2 bench guys. Most of the bench is not good!! 🤦‍♂️

  12. Oh our great genius ujiri and Webster. MLS got to reform from the top to bottom. Ujiri and Webster made too many bad decisions. But the fans in toronto are rich people so MLS should rightfully butter them . If you are making money why change anything. Maybe ujiri and Webster do know business after all.
