I’m not sure this is revolutionary information at this point. DeMar proved last game he can adapt and be a facilitator who we can then turn to in crunch time if we need a bucket. He fits much better with the young core. Zach on the other hand does not. He needs to be paired with someone like LeBron or Joker where he knows he’s not calling the shots and then as a complimentary offensive weapon I think he’ll shine. He needs another team bad just like Lauri did.

The only way it would work with those 2 together at least in offense is if demar plays like how he did Saturday and lavine plays like klay on offense. Every team has at least a few isos per game and statistically demar has been one of the most efficient iso players in the league for years now . Talking about those moments when the game is extremely slowed/end of quarter shots. Meanwhile lavine is a very good off ball catch and shoot scorer. If lavine can accept his shots per game are gonna flunctuate 10 one game 20 next depending on how many C&S opportunities he gets it could work, but if he sees demar getting isos and he wants to iso as well or if demar himself isos too much then it all crashes down again

If you watch more than one game, it’s pretty obvious. When only one of them is on the floor they are engaged and they are the primary scoring option. When both of them are on the floor, one of them stands to the corner as a bailout or reset option, so you effectively have a four person offense. It’s a stupid way to run a team with two prolific scorers.
