Listen, I’m loving this season as much as the next but the jury is still out. I want to see a couple playoff series wins before I make any final judgment on Connelly.

Let’s see how he deals with this cap situation this offseason before the verdict is out.

  3. Nah, I’ve been an unyielding TC defender ever since my best friend Ant [said TC was his best friend.](https://www.reddit.com/r/timberwolves/s/EnjTc7ePlv) That makes TC my best friend too.

And I would never dream of talking shit about one of my best friends behind their back like that (don’t look through my comment history).

The trade did suck, it just sucks way less now. Also miss PatBev

I think Rudy owes us an apology. He isn’t even close to the same guy he was last year.

    I don’t know ball.

I sit here and shitpost with you all, but the truth is that my mind is completely blown when Micah Nori runs through a play and breaks down the action.

I can tell some overall tendencies of the team, but I can’t point at what Chris Finch does right or wrong beyond waiting too long to call a timeout or if he did a good job using his challenges or not.

When it comes to front office stuff I have no idea how the salary cap works, luxury tax, and how to make all the dollars and cents work. I can be critical of draft picks that didn’t work out but I don’t know how to assign value to them.

Most of all, I had no idea about fit and chemistry and how two bigs could work. I had the small ball blinders on and thought we were trying to play outdated 1970’s ball by having 2 bigs.

I don’t know shit about ball and I’m reserving any criticism I have from now on and just enjoying the ride.

  7. “I didn’t watch the actual games” should be removed from this. I did. It was brutal.

  8. Was expecting a 47+ win trajectory with the trade last year the price of business and who else was vying for him is still my question

It’s 20 games in bitch. Save this for midseason at least.

Maybe last year the trade looked bad and our results were not good. Gobert had a very down season. He had back and knee issues. He didn’t look close to the player he is this year. Now you can take in the results of this year and say so far it looks good. There are some questions on our salary positions next year too. With new information comes new opinions.
