Tatum not a top 5 player. Stat padding buckets in the last minute of the game to try & improve his efficiency was nasty.

we needed Green Mamba Tatym and got butterfly jacket canned “F-bomb” Tatum. once again he couldn’t match the intensity of the moment & while his raw stats look decent, -14 on 2/8 from three, 4/7 from free just wasnt efficient enough to match what Haliburton was cooking. Until Tatum can summon his “takeover mode” at will— & not just against Philly— we will continue to underperform… if we believe the in-season tournament matters, & we werent fouling Andre Drummond while up by 25 for nothing.
Idc about the ist but I cared more about the consistent bad habits like turnovers, bad switches, horrible 3rd quarters, bad defense, disappearing bench and lack of crucial timeouts/adjustments from Joe I get that he wants to see if they can fix it but if you see they’re not then call a damn timeout he acts like they roll over to the next game I hope we can fix our issues now instead of still repeating them in the playoffs
Turnovers and only threes are the lost for the Celtics
Seems to me this tournament is meaningless. All winning it would do is put a target on your back for the rest of the season, while losing now gives you much time to rest and recover from injuries.

What's going on with Tatum's free throw shooting?? We are in desperate need of a leader and sadly our two best players haven't developed that yet. Do we have time to change that? Yes, but it's going to take some serious looking in the mirror from our best two and coaches. Not sure Joe will be tough enough.

No passion for winning on this team. Just a bunch of individuals playing ball every night. Tatum needs to grow a voice on this team and get his guys rallied and energized like leader the needs to be. Tired of seeing these silly games fly by because we play lazy. Pacers simply cared more tonight.
Enough already. This team takes too many threes. And plays too much hero ball. Period. End of sentence. Blame it on the players blame it on the coach im tired of debating who's more responsible ( you know where i fall on that question ). They gotta play a more diversified offense share the ball more move more without the ball and focus more consistently on rebounding and getting stops no matter how well or poorly ANY of them are shooting on any given night. You can win looking pretty sometimes – even frequently if you have a lot of that kind of talent- but that wont be enough to win a championship you gotta be willing to WORK. And that attitude has to come from the coach down to the leaders to the role players. Me personally i think it comes from the top – i dont think Mazulla is even close to a championship caliber head coach, and his coaching strategy ENCOURAGES the lazy prima donna tendencies of some of the team's star players rather than discourages or counterbalances it with a disciplined system – but its true that the players especially the leaders have a responsibility to play disciplined too and can make better decisions consistently on their own. They do still have some veterans who can and should exert a positive influence.
