  1. Shout out to TAS saying to take a peek at tickets! Got Row 2 tickets for my Bucks for tonight for 95 a pop!

  2. I think the greatest part of the In-season tournament is that we get to see the teams that dominated early into the season compete at their peak. It happens a lot that by the end of the season many teams have multiple injured players, there's fatigue and mental exhaustion. Seeing this early is a fun way to see who got it at the beginning, a few years ago the Bulls would have done well, the Pels last year were dominating, etc. It gives franchises something to be excited about if they have not been or done much in the playoffs. In other sports like soccer, there are nation's league, champions league and another one. So there's always competition going on. No one in the NBA would play in a different league, so this is a good way to add like an extra cup to it.

  3. One thing IST need to improve is after group stage the IST playoff need to base of 8 team best record we need break the east and west rule. image final IST is between two west team (playoff already base of east and west and now allstar back to east and west)

  4. I think the point differental is the best twist of the ist. it shows which teama are actually competive and which teams are incompetent. Billy Donovan getting mad about hack a drummond displays how bad his tenure has been for the Bulls and why the Bulls need to blow it up.

We wouldn't get these storylines without the tension that the point differential brings especially this early in the season

  5. If they changed the name to the NBA cup, they would also have to change the trophy to a cup right?? Maybe that’s why they made it 23 inches for the inaugural trophy, cause they’re gonna change it next year 🤔

  6. My conspiracy theory is a bust, i really thought it was gonna be steered to celtics lakers ist final…but the next best thing is new young stars, zion- Haliburton would be a good final showdown possibility. Im rooting for Indy, one of my favorite teams before the Raptors, always used them in video games, Reggie for the shooting. I like defense but they are fun to watch. I knew Sac was making a mistake dealing Haliburton away.
PS, JV would eat that guy for lunch

  7. I find it funny vegas has taken gold and black when theyre nicknamed the "silver state" and the Raiders were the first team there, in silver and black. So what colour will the A's be when they move. Fuck every team is black and gold even the raptors wear it now. Makes sense for a tournament but has become the most overused colour combo

  8. My suggestion for the IST is more IST!! Do the one we are currently doing (with any tie breaker tweaks you want), but add the fact that the winner gets a first round pick directly after the lottery. Think of a team that has traded every other first rounder for 5 years going hard as hell to get that, and then of course trading it away in february for jae crowder, haha. Then do a second IST after the all-star break, and the winner gets a guaranteed 3 spot bump in the standings wherever they finish. You were the 11th seed, hello 8th seed and goodbye former 10th seed. You were the 5th seed, welcome to a home playoff series. If you want the regular season to matter, this is the way to go!!

  9. SHOUTOUT TO MF'ING SKEETS FOR ACKNOWLEDGING HOW GOOD INGRAM PLAYED.

He is easily the best scorer and playmaker on the Pels but he's been overshadowed big time by Zion's hype.

  10. Pacers played like it was Game 7 of ECF, bravo! You guys need to stop riding the Celtics bandwagon…they are a semi or conf finals team at best. This team won't get a title with this roster.
Also, Im tempted to get a "Classic Factory" mug, just worried with overseas shipping, the item is fragile, would love to get it, would hate to get it broken…

  11. tas, as recovery is an open-ended process and non-linear it's hats off to you for letting us all witness and support yours. a tent-pole event.

  12. Studying Dialectical Cognitive Therapy has made me realize my inner voice with which I talk to myself is actually Sgt. Slaughter and he’s a real asshole.

  13. I think the TNT are definitely going a little too hard, but man is it difficult to watch how little Zion tries sometimes. He looks especially slow next to all the players who play SO hard on that team too like Alvarado, Murphy, Jones, etc

  14. Barkley mentioned this as a change for the IST but instead of point differential why not use the normal overall team record. This might help teams like the Thunder and Wolves who are having great seasons but got knocked out right away actually get in.
