bring rhis man up
Zion Williamson that can shoot 🔥
Shoutout to Kendall Brown too, who’s playing very well lately.
30 points (11-15 FG, 4-5 from 3!), 4 rebounds, and 4 assists.
I think Rick is treating him a bit like he treated Tinsley in the first stint as the HC. Not playing early on but will be a key part as the season goes on
Posted this in the other thread about him but copying here:
that shooting is probably the most promising part of this statline. other counting stats don’t mean much against G-League competition (remember TJ Leaf and Goga putting up 30 regularly with Ft. Wayne?) but shooting can definitely translate.
I really think Jarace is just very raw and not comfortable in the Pacers system yet, and having him out on the floor for NBA minutes won’t do him justice and will actually hurt our other developing players who are also still learning Rick’s system. Think about guys like Mathurin who are clearly not fully comfortable on either end of the floor yet. If Jarace is out there too and in the wrong spot or doing the wrong thing, it won’t help Benn see the light any faster.
I know a lot of times it seems like our guys are just hooping out there but there really is a system, even on offense. Jarace needs to learn that and be able to make the proper reads or the whole thing will grind to a halt.
