i like your starting line up and bench. if only Darko can do it…
Make Scottie our starting PG ! Get him more usage like 30%!
If I was the coach, I would have Shrodder come off the bench, that bench needs help, have Shrodder, Trent, Boucher, Gradey as your 4 subs, yes I would have Gradey, I can live with his mistakes, we need shooters.
Have Porter in the starting line up…that way Barnes is your pg, u got pretty good 3pt shooters, OG and Porter, also they are pretty good defensively, Siakim as your post up big, Poeltl as screen and roll for Scottie, Rebounding, big man…than during game u can go small or big, whatever….
Oh yeah, NO ACHIUWA AND FLYNN, those guys should be in the G League, learning how 2 play in the system or just sit on the bench with Thad, I don't care..these guys always make mistakes..constantly or they don't do nothing.
Why do other team's G league rosters have more intriguing prospects?
It would be amazing to see Scottie makes All star this season. If not this year for sure next season 🙂
i dont know what @scottplays2k meant with his question exactly but id like to hear a more realistic team you'd build around scottie to win as soon as possible with the free agents and trade options available now and upcoming. The lineup you gave was amazing but i dont realistically see us being able to get all those great players.
for example: how would you feel about us getting keegan murray and malik monk for siakam? maybe with a harrison or huerter possibly and we'd give up a little more. I've heard rumours of a package like that being an option and think it'd make us instantly better imo

I would be here for that experiment with Chris and Gary. Part of me would be hesitant about moving Yak, but you’re right at the end of the day he’s a role player. Denis and Jakob could be a really strong bench. Something like this should have been tried earlier though; part of me worries that if it didn’t work immediately everyone would panic and immediately go back to status quo ..

Darko got hired and he called Dennis. That’s his guy. Masai and Bobby knew this and approved this. So for Masai to say we got to build around Scottie is a false narrative. If it was true, then this team would’ve already started a rebuild and Scottie would be the face of this team and leader. As soon as Scottie won Rookie of the year FVV and Pascal should’ve been moved to get max return. And now these past 20 games, the same problems are still there that this team has had the previous seasons. There’s no superstar can be added via free agency or trade to be made out there. Tear it down and really commit to a rebuild around Scottie.

No matter what stats you put up, nothing says Trent is better than Schroder. I'd love to see Gary starting, but he is not playing up to par.
