Watching this kid’s games on a grainy ass stream of Kansas games last year was so worth it. That stroke has always been perfect and I believe he can get to the ~40-41% 3P skill level. He challenges himself a lot, but I do wish he could get up more attempts, that’s my one complaint.
If a guy like him is gonna be elite, he’s gotta be getting up 9-10 3PA per 36 at minimum, and ideally closer to 12. Right now he’s still at <7. Next time he plays for the Raps that’s gonna be the main thing I’m watching.

What a bust Masai is blind or (insert extremely short sighted and emotional take)

Nice seeing him make his shots but his makes do not inspire a lot of confidence. All of his 3s except for like 1 were super wide open and his release looks insanely slow. I really wonder what he can do to succeed as a shooter at the NBA level.
That being said, I like the hustle he has in the paint and his transition playmaking is an interesting part of his game.
