Arguably our worst rotational player this year turns a top 5 player into a decoy for half the first and third quarter. **That same player is #2 on our team in usage and touches.**
Chet Holmgren could not get one bucket with that same player on the floor because defenders would immediately collapse off that same player.
Now imagine if our top 5 player could actually be involved everytime he’s on the court.

Don’t want to pile on Josh at the moment but that’s about as untenable a game as I’ve seen with him so far. Having him in the court completely ruining any kind of offence which is meant to be the reason he’s on the court. It’s going from bad to worse unfortunately.

SGA had some good stats tonight and Giddey makes it super hard on all the other players. But SGA forced it some tonight. His teammates had better open looks and SGA forced the shots anyway.
It might be an aberration but it bears watching.

I got tons of flack for twlling you guys how badly Giddey sucks earlier this year. It is pretty nice to see that many who made excuse after excuse for Giddey are finally being objective on Giddey’s play.
