Well this goes to show what I’ve been saying that 15-20 point leads mean nothing in today’s NBA lol , horrible shooting game by Jokic , it happens. The free throws and sometimes lacktheirof is to watch out for. No one ever said back to back was gonna be easy , just hate some of these close games we’ve let slip this season. GG clippers onto the next

  2. Cloudkiicker

Nikola Jokic and a future 1st round draft pick for Zach Lavine and Patrick Williams, who says no?

  3. Double8093

Probably the worst jokic game ever and nugs still could have won. There was a turning point in the 4th where Westbrook out hustled Christian for a few plays and the momentum started to swing. Hopefully Christian learns from this and also learns that he really needs to develop a reliable 3 ball. On to the next one

  4. NuggsBurgh

Felt like I was watching Embiid out there, just without the 18 FTs a game obviously

  5. So we beat the clippers without our starters but lose today with them. Makes zero sense.

  6. Bandlebury

When Mike forces his way out of here because we don’t give him chances, I’m going to be so sad but will also understand

  7. finn_odalih

Fans when Jokic has 579 consistently good to great games: 🥱

Fans when Jokic has 1 awful game: 🤬

  8. Superbotto

Jokic has been the reason for 100s of wins for the Nuggets and been the reason for the loss in maybe a handful of games. This is one in the handful.

Jokic will bounce back. Nuggets will bounce back. Time to come home and forget about this game.

  9. skynet2175

Joker shot 32 shots and only got to the free throw line once, and that was in the 4th quarter. lol refs

Malone even mentioned it in the press conference!

  10. MambaMentality15

Seeing Jokic shoot the team out the game was something I thought I’d never see. Guess he’s human after all. Missed so many bunnies tonight, but think he also let the lack of calls get to him and he just started putting them up. And everyone just kinda stopped cutting and just watched him put them up so he wasn’t dishing it out. Oh well, he’ll bounce back.

Need to get MPJ more involved, too many times he starts hot and then just doesn’t get the rock. He needs to move and get himself open too, but running a couple plays for him wouldn’t hurt imo. Hopefully a home game gets the fellas right, go nuggets!

  11. DrugzRBadMmmKay

MPJ 7/8 and a few other buckets got called off early. He was feeling it tonight. How did he not get more set looks?

  12. finn_odalih

Whatever happens tho, that FT disparity day in and day out never fails with this team. Just lovely.

  13. 0xParzival

Welcome to watching basketball. Glad to have you here. But Jokic (again) is the BEST player on earth. You let him do his thing regardless of small sample size. If you were talking about almost any other player, I get it. But no.

  14. Superbotto

In one game in January 2018, Jokic went 9/12/7 on 4-21 shooting (0-8 from 3) and 1-2 from the line. That was nearly 6 years ago. That was his career worst shooting night. That’s how far back I gotta look to see something like what unfolded tonight.

I’ll take 1 horrendous game every 6 years.

  15. Double8093

Just thinking of ways to get Mike the ball more often- I haven’t really seen him get the ball in the high post. Kevin Durant/ Paul George/ Brandon Ingram can hit the turn around or create offense from the high post- MPJ is 6 10 so you would think that would be an option for him. Not sure if that’s in Mikes skill set because I haven’t seen it but he has the height and shot to potentially make it work.

  16. We’re fine, this is actually the most confident I’ve ever been after a loss because big fella missed 24 shots and it still came down to the wire. He’s gonna come out with a vengeance next game, trip dub and win

  17. TheOrthodoxPolock

Lurk showing up only in the game thread today, a 15 year old singing sex songs to you as a halftime show, Jokić all time stinker although I’m not convinced this wasn’t all a ruse to try to prove that he’s a human(he’s not). What a weird evening.

  18. Cloudkiicker

I’m just not sure how this organization is supposed to forgive the greatest player in the world for having a bad game in the 22nd game of the regular season, his first bad game in several years.

  19. UndisclosedLocation5

Jok is intentionally tanking the MVP race early in the season so that he doesn’t have to hear about it all year. That’s all this game was.

  20. MurrayFlurray

Everyone talks about how easy it is to play with Jokic have simply never played basketball and missed a wide open 3 in a world championship game, or blown an easy cut on the basket after a perfect pass in the clutch in a big game in the NBA playoff. Let me tell you, it’s not easy.

When you close your eyes and hit the game winning shot you just are never imagining such an “easy” shot which makes it hard to pull off night after night.

So in that sense I think sometimes it is good for the team to see Jokic have an imperfect shooting night where he misses a lot of shots he usually makes look easy. You just don’t want that game to come when it really matters, but luckily Jokic and this team is the best when it really matters so some random game in **November** is the perfect time to show he is human just like the rest of us.
    Yes, November.

    A. Jokic celebrates his holidays according to the Julian calendar

    B. I guess I’m just not as into slobbering all over some piece of shit warmonger especially some dork ass loser named “Greg” who while ignored in his dream to continue the unending war against the Muslims was unfortunately more successful in convincing people to slaughter Protestants at home, but hey why don’t you just have a big party to celebrate the horrific St. Barthelomew’s Day Massacre of the Huguenots by pointing out to me “it’s not November anymore” because Greg says. I don’t care about your opinion so yeah it is still November asshole and it doesn’t matter to me.

  21. Jok missing that many bunnies is crazy. Weird game, Clippers are very beatable. Its whatever, on to the next.

  22. Beer_Kicker

Joker quietly throwing a TD out there during one of his worst shooting performances ever.

  23. UndisclosedLocation5

Reggie should have gotten the FMVP if you really think about it

  24. fattymaggo

It is honestly so weird how MPJ can start off so well and then they never go back to it. I do not really get it.

  25. mrbaseball1999

This game was on Jokic but I have zero concern. This was an absolute anomaly of a game from him, like a once in a decade turd, and he still put up a triple double and the game was still very much within reach. Put it behind us, move on and beat the snot out of Houston on Friday.

  26. there’s only been 6 games since 2000 where a C or F/C has attempted 30+ field goals with only 2 free throws and jokic has 2 of them. crazy.

  27. SuperDoubleDecker

How tf did Nugs have less than 10 FT attempts?

  28. Night-Menace

You people need to chill lol

It’s just one bad game for Jokic where the bench shit the bed and lost a huge lead and where the team wasn’t cutting, and on top of that Clips were simply hitting shots. It happens.

Was this one of the worst games for Jokic? Sure. But most good players don’t do 20/10/10 more than a few times a season.

It’s a regular season game. He wouldn’t do it in the playoffs. He was in a slump so he tried to break it, that’s why he shot so many times and rightfully so. Most of the time when he’s in a slump he starts hitting them eventually. This time he didn’t but he had every right to believe he will break it because he has the talent, history and records to prove he can do it. He didn’t, but he could’ve. He took a gamble – didn’t work this time. It will work the next 99 times. Big deal.

The biggest problem is the bench. In 4 minutes you lose a 15 (or however many) point lead, you lose the tempo, you lose confidence, and then you pray to Joker almighty he’ll fix your shit. He fixes it 99% of the time. Tonight he didn’t. Next time he will.

    Damn you guys are doomers

  29. Donnie1490

Been a while but honest thoughts after finishing over a quarter of the nba season

    1. Remember MPJ bubble comments. “I just didn’t get the ball” is all people remember, but if you watched all of it, he said we have to get more players involved other than Jokic & Jamal and move the ball. Last year how the starters were so great was balanced scoring, balanced shots

    2. Speaking of other guys, I don’t know what AG did this off-season, but it wasn’t improving his game. He should have shot 100 FT’s and 3pt shots EVERY DAY. I have no confidence in his jump shot. Yeah I’m worried. We lost to the Wolves cause Rudy left him wide open and helped protect the paint

    3. Speaking of the Wolves it pains me to say but they’re better this season. Healthy pelicans, a problem. The West, better

    4. Lack of 3pt shooting is a problem with the 2nd unit. Braun, Watson, Strawther and whatever big, no 3pt shooting. I’ve seen enough to give up on it cause defensively it’s not enough. Watch the 2nd quarter, lead blown. Give me Reggie-Braun-Holiday-MPJ-DJ 2nd unit. Reggie and DJ pick n roll. You can get Watson in with the starters or something

  30. mariohoops

One of ours worst games as a complete unit was a close game on the road against a supposed contender. not super mad, we had a long ass break tho you gotta be able to come out with a better performance than that

  31. snakejakemonkey

Denver has lost 7 of 13. Malone got them playing down to the pack.

  32. beaver2233

Well at least Murray survived the game! Give him a few more games and we’ll be sweet.
