We need to revert back to a half court style of play, which I think will benefit Wemby greatly. This uptempo style effectively neutralizes his efforts in establishing himself and getting to his spots. He is playing the right way by being patient and allowing plays to develop, but his teammates are looking for their shots early in the shot clock. I don't know how Pop hasn't figured this out yet. Surround Vic with guys that move well without the ball, such as DM, CO, and Mamu. In order for chemistry to grow, KJ and DV should not be on the court together with Vic.
Our starting 5 should look like: DV, CO, Mamu, ZC, and Vic….CO, and Mamu moves great without the ball.

[Warning: i share my feelings] Victor seems a little deflated, i feel with all the praises, the pressure, and just his size and skills, he may have been led to expect he would be able to make more of a difference individually, score more consistently. Perhaps i'm mistaken, but this game looked to me like he did not want to take the lead, because that requires great confidence. For sure now it looks easier to be like Chet, in a team that already works great and has a confident leader. I hope Victor will find a way to release that pressure and anything negative.

In the 3rd they freaked out and went on a stretch of taking terrible shots and bad passes, and we let minnesota go on a tear. If they can just calm down in those moments we can easily start winning. Also holy crap look for Wemby. They pass it to him when it's convenient instead of making the effort to actually make something happen. Go Spurs Go but dam if we're gonna lose at least give to to Victor to make it entertaining
