South Carolina vs. Clemson: In an in-state battle of unbeatens, The Clemson Tigers improved to 8-0 with a 72-67 win over the South Carolina Gamecocks. Five players scored in double figures for Brad Brownell’s crew with Chauncey Wiggins scoring 15 points on 5-8 shooting. PJ Hall scored 14 points with 8 rebounds and 4 blocks while Ian Schieffelin played big despite battling foul trouble and finished with 12 points, 12 rebounds and 2 steals in the win. Medchie Johnson led all scorers with 26 points in a losing effort.

Clemson is slowly but surely proving that they can win the ACC this year
This feels like a possible deep ncaa run type team. Last team I felt this confident about was the purnell team that got hosed by the refs in the sweet 16 against Villanova, and the cliff ellis/ Tate George gut punch team.
Hopefully this team will break some hearts of opposing teams fans this year and will maximize its on court potential whatever that happens to be. Sweet 16 elite 8 etc…

I actually like both these teams BUT they play ALOT slower than a few that’ll be in the tournament. I’m not sure if they can keep up with some teams speed. However, both of these teams are tournament good!
They beat South Carolina not North Carolina! I’d hold up on that they could win the acc talk til about February and see where they are then.
