Why did Quin sit DJ so long? We can give this L to the coach. Also he played OO and Clint together at the wrong time. Like Quin's disconnected and not feeling the game.
Hawks need a dominant low post player, lost by 2, outscored in the paint by 4 and out rebounded offensively by 1, hawks lose on the glass and in the paint, the opposition pulls CC to the top of the paint and it's over, defensive break downs occur on the boards, back cuts and the perimeter is open for uncontested jump shots, that's the hawks reality as this team is presently constructed

Ressler is just entertaining casual fans with Trae selling out the arena. We have no intention to win games. This team is done. It’s a joke.
This game really pissed me off, tired of the damn losing it seems every team has a Chance to beat us in our building! We get no separation at home, but at some point we're always down double digits on the road, however I thought Trae got a good look and a good shot, and also drew the contact all in one, and should have been rewarded foul shots, he couldn't have made a better move to the basket nor gotten a better shot to induce a foul😡 I mean fuck that.
Quinn is doing what he has to for this team to be a contender and not just an average-at-best team. He knows this team needs more defense, size, and rebounding. He is trying to satisfy those deficiencies internally by unlocking Okungwu's full potential. Quinn understands that Okungwu has to be able to play the 4 and the Hawks have to be able to function as a team with Clint and Okungwu playing in the game at the same time. To maximize this team's talent.
If that happens like the Bucks with Giannis, Portis, and Lopez. Being able to rotate different variations of those 3 on the floor at any given time.
The Hawks will then be able to do the same and rotate between Capela/ JJ, JJ /OKungwu, or Okungwu,/Capla and always have Size, Defense, and Rebounding that the Hawks need because they are so small in the backcourt.
This will then allow the Hawks to play any combination they want at the SF and SG positions getting the most out of those players also.
Quinn is trying to unlock a dimension that should have frankly already been unlocked on this Hawks team a long time ago.
For a long time, the Hawks Coaches have failed to get the most out of Okungwu's abilities. Not that Quinn is here he's doing his part to ensure that ends. I'm all for it.
This team has never lacked talent. It simply lacked a Coaching staff that had the vision and ability to unlock the talent. Just like Quinn has allowed JJ to tap into his true abilities he is now starting Okungwu on his journey also.
