Zu really had one of the best defensive performances of all time lmao

I don’t think Zu did bad last night, but he also wasn’t the primary defender the majority of the time either. They contained Jokic with great help defense and by building a wall for him to shoot over in the middle paint area while also collapsing passing lanes.

Jokic more so just missed shots he normally makes this game, and sometimes you just gotta live with that when it comes to elite players. The main concern was that Denver got open shots at will, as well as them making contested pull-ups like crazy. They came down to earth in the second half, but the open shots were still there but not converted.

They have a long way to go before you can ever think they can beat Denver in a playoff series, but at least things are looking up and you can take solace in that more so than a losing streak.
