Glad to see someone else is seeing he can’t floor general. He passes to Jakob a lot in the pick and roll but that’s about it. That’s why he’s a better 6th man. Right now we don’t have a choice and he’s good value at 12mil.
He worked good on the lakers because they had lebron james who is a floor general.
Ain’t no way Dennis suppose to be getting more attempts than OG, period.

Tons of misses from the game last night. Sloppy. Raptors as usual run hot then cold. No consistency.
Dennis’s relationship with Darko is allowing him to empty the clip. Either way even if he wan’t emptying the clip I still think we would still suck. The team is just not balance and it’s poorly constructed. There’s just too many issues. We don’t have a real first option guy, we don’t have a real back up center, our lottery pick in the draft isn’t as ready as we hope, Trent really isn’t provided much, our back PG is Flynn and precious is back to miami day’s precious. There’s just far too many issues for this team to be good.
You’re totally on point about Schroeder. We need the coach to enforce much more discipline. He needs to stop using players that are not performing on a given day. He should not shy away from using authority
I was excited for Schroeder at the beginning of season as a backup to Scottie… But as a starter 😑.
Raps coaching and mgmt are doing another head scratcher. Teams want him shooting and making decisions for a reason.
I know the Raptors are going to make a move. Not because they care if they win, we know Toronto doesn't care about that. But because I looked at ticket prices for last nights game and could get multiple tickets for under $100…that isn't normal when the Heat is in town. That is going to bother the management
I can see a few that can jump…but the Raptors need a strong center that can help Poetl. That's my two cents.

Been saying Dennis was a bad addition since he was named starter…Dennis solidified it after his first post game pre conference when he said prior to him signing Darko had told him he deserves his OWN team. Nobody wanted to listen though too enamoured with him playing at a higher level that he can’t sustain.
Dennis and Darko just continued where Nick and FVV left off…this has turned into the same bs basketball that was being played last year.
Move Dennis to the bench start Gary. Been saying start Gary since March 2022.
If he stays in the Starting lineup, he's got to be an off-ball game, and Scottie should run point.
If he comes off the bench, he should have a limited on-ball role.
Switch to rooting for the Houston rockets…at least the jerseys are red n white.
Dennis is a role player and backup guard. He’s not here to try and make an all star team. Darko is enabling him. Dennis has been on 6 different teams in 7 years for a reason.
I’m losing interest. We can’t have another season like last season. We need BIG CHANGES. Im taking a break from Raptors games until we figure out what we’re doing. Either trade to get better now or trade away some of our assets for draft picks/young players.
I'm with you Ben! I was high on Dennis but if he thinks he can chuck up shots similar to what Vanvleet was doing he should be talked to by the coach and if that doesn't work… Bench!

I already thought from the jump that darko mightve had abit of a boner for choder i always thought the move would be to start gary (he'd probably play better in that role judging by his history to) and try scottie at point but it's gotten to a point where I'm starting to think he might actually be on his payroll or sometype of "bank" roll with the green light he's been getting lately.

Clint Capela, Bogdon Bogdanavic, AJ Griffin and Two First Rounder
Schroeder played with Clint before and they both only have two years on their contract. Bogdon is a better Gary Trent on a more team friendly deal creating more room for the OG contract and AJ Griffin is a player that can be a great role player with great 3pt shooting potential after his dive this year due to Jalen Johnsons emergence, plus 2 first rounders for the future

Dennis was 4/18 and getting cooked defensively and was still in the game down the stretch for some reason. Should’ve been sitting on the bench when we needed crucial buckets

No one with a shred of Basketball knowledge would ever want Schroder (a career 33% shooter), to be taking more shots than Siakam, OG, Scottie or Gary.
@ben rogers come out and just say it, everyone thinking it. Dennis Schroder has to be traded. He is taking too many shots and taking away touches from scottie barnes, siakam and og anunoby.
