  1. I think the new Clips got unlocked after the Reggie and DJ game and vs GSW. I think they’ll play with pride and show the Nuggs a thing or two tonight. Gonna be a good one! 🔥🔥🔥

  2. James harden slows the offense down and doesn't play defense and the ball movement is the biggest issue he doesn't push the pace

  3. I agree. The games the nuggets narrowly lose Jokic will drop a 40-50 piece but not impact the game in his usual ways.

  4. I think the length….
The Nuggets and Pelicans have a lot of length that can bother both Kawhi and PG, making them less efficient than normal.
The Pelicans are also deep which sort of neutralizes The Clippers previous depth advantage.
You would think The Clippers depth would give them an advantage over The Nuggets who haven't really been especially deep in my view.
Dime makes a great point in regards to The Nuggets.
Right now the top two players on The Nuggets(Jokic/Murray) might simply be better than the top two players on The Clippers(Kawhi/PG)
Then you really don't have much drama in regards to "the others" in Denver.
Gordon, Caldwell-Pope, and Porter Jr have very defined roles that they appear to be very comfortable with.
The Clippers did seem to have this with Jackson, Morris Sr, and Zubac but injuries to Kawhi and PG i think made the front office impatient.
There is a lot more tinkering in LA.
Denver didn't over react to the injuries to Murray and Porter Jr.
    They stayed patient.
I don't think pace is a clear differentiator even though i recognize The Nuggets tend to play more high scoring games.
They are not really a pace team, compared to the top pace teams in the league.
They are a selective transition team but mostly a very efficient half court team.
    Tonight's game should be interesting!

  5. Zu couldn't play in the 4th of the 1st game bc he was in foul trouble I believe and we were already over the limit

  6. rough matchup for Pg but I think he’s poised to have a good one all rested up… wouldn’t surprise me if russ balls out too

  7. To me, it's the coaching. Both coaches have been out coached by Mike Malone. He makes adjustments to what they do, and they have not been able to respond. Ty Lou needs to start playing chess and think a couple moves ahead and mix up things a little.

  8. They struggle against Denver due to that embarrassment in the bubble. It gets into their heads snd they bow down easily

  9. That Murray & Gordon play could work with harden pg and Russ . Harden the ball handler , pg set the screen for Russ then either lob or pg pop out for three . Or vice versa. But it seems Paul George is scared to dunk the ball this season

  10. This isn’t about Kawhi vs Jokic. I agree there combo of Murray and Jokic is better than Kawhi and PG. Even if Kawhi outplayed Jokic there would never be a game where PG could outplay Murray. Giving the nuggets the best 2 out of 3 players when we used to match up. However The clippers real issue is we’re always playing to a disadvantage with Zu on the court. That game at beginning of the 2021 we had nico and serge starting so essentially we were running a five out offense. When we run traditional bigs Jokic doesn’t have to leave the paint on defense he can afford to be lazy. Clippers have yet to accept that reality and then we got embarrassed last game. Even if Kawhi has a great game against Jokic it won’t matter cause you can’t beat them individually. For example, lebron had a great game 4 and AD had a great game 1 doesn’t matter cause the nuggets are a better unit that can outlast any individual performance. The same goes with the suns series. Book and KD had great individual games and the nuggets never lost momentum. Lastly, they have better coaching

  11. It's because of the same reasons that everyone has vs them…plus one thing:

    – They're a better organization. Their winning priorities are in order, with intelligent leadership and superb chemistry in a system that enables good players to make great plays frequently.

    – A supreme P&R combo, the best since Stockton/Malone

    – J O K E R is a living, breathing cheat-code. Possibly the most unique player ever; certainly since Magic.
    and….
    – Our guys are not mentally optimal. Perhaps some 'trauma' from the bubble is still to blame, but more likely it is just that we are low to middle IQ-wise and Ty is slow to adjust in most of our series. The Nuggs succeed at recognizing and exploiting these shortcomings.

  12. I like the R. Jackson shout out 👍once a clipper always a clipper…. especially him and what he went thru on our star injury years smh

  13. There is no big that are soley defensive minded like Dwight Howard that can lockdown jokic . The one player that night is on their team (deandre Jordan) which I feel like they both are learning from each other

  14. Anyone know why clippers darrell giving up all his seats lately? He haven’t been to no game for a while .

  15. To be honest whenever harden has played jokic and the nuggets on previous teams it has never been an issue for him. The last game was a statistical anomaly and now that harden has the green light from Coach Lue to run the offense, it should be an easy game tonight.

  16. nuggets fan here, Jamal came back for a game, twisted his ankle in like the third possession of the game, then proceeded to hit a halfcourt granade. he is back tonight with a minutes restriction. Anyways, I enjoyed the podcast, good luck tonight

  17. its a dog fight right now i just cant wait til the end the clips look like they gonna win due to the great coaching by ty lou… he's become a master of wearing the opponents down… you see how our bigs are looking like they understand the assignment.. i think im gonna make the bet that theyll be in the conference finals tonight 🤣 😂
