I know we keep beating a dead horse with trade ideas — but this kind of deal actually looks pretty good on our side. Although it might be a tad overly optimistic. IMO.
Grants a great player and his value is rising (I definitely see Grant potentially making all star this year) – but I can’t really see him netting Hield, Toppin and a first just yet. Unless I’m wrong and I’m underestimating his trade value.
Jarace Walker plus Hield seems more probable if the Pacers want this sort of trade. Picks would be nice. But I think we only get those kinds of cherries on top if multiple teams are bidding for him.

I’m not really interested in seeing us make any trades until we get healthy. Let’s see what kind of team we have first. I have no doubt we are a playoff team when healthy.
Getting, effectively, a top 10 pick in Walker would be insane. We do that in a heartbeat lol
Meh, in my opinion. I think having a somewhat competitive team with Grant is going to more beneficial to Scoot/Shaedon than adding another lottery pick.
I caveat that with, UNLESS, there is someone out there that we really like in the draft, and/or, Grant became a locker room distraction or was pushing heavily for a trade.

wut?
Already have Jabari no thanks
Pacers just kicked Milwaukee’s butt, do they need a trade?
Done.. but pacers reject this so fast
I could see it, they’d be moving two expiring contracts in Hield and Toppin for Grant who’s locked up. Adding their ’24 pick lottery protected would make sense, and then flip Hield to like LAL for Rui plus a second, would be interesting.
I’ll take as many young forwards as I can get tbh
If we trade Jerami this year we gotta be prepared to score 80 points some nights.
I don’t know enough about Jarace to know if that’s worth it.
If we could land Jarace for Grant you do that in a heartbeat, fuck what the rest of the deal looks like.
Unfortunately, the Pacers aren’t run by 7 year Olds so they would never trade Jarace for Grant.
