Bulls team without Zach LaVine:

Bulls team with Zach Lavine:
*I Can’t Believe it’s Not Better*
…we can love Zach, I do. But it is time. We’re simply butter.

Coby had me scared last season, but when I saw the work he put in this summer…I knew we were in for a treat.
Let’s give these young guys grace. You never know what’s holding them back.

Finally read the [steph noh article about the Bulls play in Zach’s absence](https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nba/news/zach-lavine-trade-rumors-bulls-better-record-without/6a58c188ee24531fecf536e6) and it really does feel like Zach never forgave Donovan for benching him that one game and let it fuck up his play. He’s been playing desparate to prove himself and holding the ball way too long/bogging down the offense looking for his own shot. Obviously he’s talented enough to convert, but in a way that made the team worse, not even getting to defense.
The offense has looked noticeably smoother and interestingly enough, we’re executing out of timeouts which kind of makes me think Zach was the one fuckin up the plays instead of Billy drawing up shitty ones.
I still think Zach is a unique elite offensive talent, but he seriously needs a scenery change. I think he’ll respond really well to playing with a more experienced star next to him.

I’m so happy for Coby right now. He’s really showing that he can learn from his mistakes and continue to improve

We are currently witnessing Coby have a Lauri style breakout and he’s doing it in a Bulls jersey
