Despite being fired from the Sixers this past offseason, Doc Rivers continues to make headlines. Recently his son, Austin Rivers, spoke out negatively about how the Sixers handled Rivers during his time as coach. Sean Barnard breaks down the comments and his overall thoughts on Rivers a few months removed from his exit.

  1. He said that as an analyst on espn and it looked like he was kidding in my opinion. Don’t see any issue here and I’m a big Sixers fan and glad Doc is gone. This is a clickbait take Sean I think you’re better than this

  2. Reading the comment his son Austin said is different to actually seeing him say it on espn and I’m no fan of doc rivers and Austin rivers

  3. Morey should have fired him the second he took the job. The fact that he gave him multiple season was a dereliction of duty. More proof that ppl are never happy and you have to do you.

  4. sixers gave doc 40million dollars contract. dude should be grateful sixers gave his dad money for failing

  5. Clippers disappoint in the playoffs: Doc Rivers is a terrible coach
    Sixers disappoint in the playoffs:
The dysfunctional Sixers did Doc Rivers dirty
Common denominator: Doc Rivers teams disappoint in the playoffs

  6. Watch the video it was funny as a Sixers fan I have no issue with it. Stop being so sensitive he's talking shit it's all in good fun. Also in relation to Joe and Bassey (not sure why you even bring him up he's not doing well) I hope you see Nurse DNPCD Jaden Springer now he's with Delaware.

  7. I despised Doc as the Sixers coach but Austin was being very tongue in cheek when he was saying that. Hearing him say it compared to reading the quote are two different things entirely.
