THE ENTIRE NBA Wants An Alex Caruso Trade…

  1. im a Bulls fan and AK and ME said that trading Caruso will be like a slap in the face, because they think he represents everything they want in a team. Obviously if the offer is too great they won't refuse. And you're right I'd put caruso's value above everyone else on the team.

  2. And some people thought Lakers fans overvalued and overhyped Alex Caruso and that he's only getting the spotlight because he's on the Lakers. I wish the Lakers kept him.

  3. We not trading ac,I doubt it.he’s the perfect vet to have around and help are youth understand what it takes to win.demar and Zach most likely are gone.

  4. If I was Caruso, I would refuse to play with LeBron and the Lakers.
You didn't need me before, don't need me now. They kinda shit on him

  5. You're crazy. Caruso is at least worth 2 1st round picks w/o protections. The question really is how bad do they want to win a championship?

  6. If only the Lakers would’ve built upon that 2020 team instead of having a weird obsession with playing Lebron off ball by bringing in a bunch of non shooting point guards and prioritizing one of those said guards over Caruso.
I loved Schroder but even that trade didn’t make sense to me. He doesn’t space the floor, he has a slow catch and shoot release and dribbles the hell out the ball. That pick could’ve easily turned into Desmond Bane for LA.
Don’t even get me started on the Westbrook trade where they lost one of the best 3&D guards in KCP, and two good trade assets in Kuzma and Harrell. Not to mention that pick turned into Jaden McDaniels

  7. That dude can fit in on almost any team. I said last year that Golden State could use somebody like Alex. Especially if Wiggins is going to continue to suck like he has all year. He can play any position other than thefour/ five so he's going to be in demand. I know he's not a forward but Golden State can play positionless basketball so they could use a lockdown defender because Wiggins doesn't seem to be able to do that this year.

  8. This just isnt gonna happen. its already come out that they are extremely hesitant and think it would be painful to trade alex. The only chance he is gonna be traded is in the zach lavine trade if zachs's value is really that low

  9. “Not many teams need a big that plays the way Vucevic plays.”

Could not have been stated better. Nothing else needs to be said.

Efficient, to the point, accurate, not rude, not disrespectful but not apologetic either.

That’s why I like this channel.

  10. I would lose my mind if the spurs got him. I NEED to see a crumb of defense from anyone wearing a Spurs jersey other than Wemby on a nightly basis. I don't care that we're not a contender, I'm just so tired of everyone other than Wemby standing still and watching the opponent score on us like they're a fan and not a player on the court.

  11. Caruso maybe most in demand, but I still doubt anyone is giving two first round picks for him, which is what his value should be

  12. The reason value for AC is so high is he has become the epitome of the kind of player the NBA values most beside its "Stars." A 6'5 wing that can defend 1-4 at a high level, has play making ability, and can sink some timely buckets for you. You used to be able to cheat off Caruso behind the arc. This no longer the case. Couple all that with being a 1st team All NBA defender, high basketball IQ, size, athleticism and ability to be a coach on the floor, and it's no wonder his value is high. As KD recently said of him "He's a phenomenal player. I don't even consider him a role player." He can start games, finish games, whatever you want from him. If basketball had an equivalent of footballs free safety it would be Alex and players like him. They are the very definition of "positionless basketball players" the NBA is gravitating toward.

But will the Bulls let him go? Right now, I mean. He's signed through the '24 -'25 and if they figure they can get a 1st, 2nd, and player for him anytime between now and the end of his deal they'd be right. Or at least a single pick and a player. But is that enough? How does that add to their future? Thing about the Bulls is they aren't looking to tank as a first option. They're on a four game win streak without Zach Lavine, the young guys they've been developing are flourishing, Caruso has become the starting SG in the absence of Zach, and he sets to tone, culture, and identity of the team for those around him. The Bulls have a tough six game stretch coming up. If they go even .500 they most likely don't trade Alex. If they keep playing good basketball as they have of late. However if they sink like a stone going forward and look like the awful team they were the first 18 games of the season or so I'd say a sell off…including AC…could be coming. Because THAT was garbage. In that case you do take what you can get and move forward with a full rebuild imo. But you still don't want to get fleeced in any deal. But value for value is fair enough.

Why are guys like AC so coveted in the NBA today over guys like Zach in some instances? A lot of reasons. They're team players, really good at at least a few things, come cheaper, bring intangibles any team needs and will fit any system instead of disrupt it. Or as Harden said recently "I am the system." Few players are that. James isn't anymore and Zach never was. Zach will get you 25ppg looking flashy and being a "Star" and lose you the game with mediocre defense, poor decision making, low IQ playing in general, and disappearing in the clutch. Guys like AC will get you 10ppg and help you win the game along the way, period.. Simple as that. Guys like Zach have their place. But at their cost the price is high for what they bring. Zach is a one dimensional player, AC is multidimensional. I think Chicago's best bet if they go full rebuild is to trade Zach and AC together. The doubts about giving up a lot for one or the other go away if you can get an elite offensive player like Lavine and elite multidimensional defensive wing like AC all in one deal. Add both to your team, use as directed, win games, be happy. And hope Zach stops dribbling the ball off his foot every other time he touches the ball😁

  13. If you could get a player and a 1st it would be worth it for the Bulls. They say they don't want to lose him though. I think a trade is worth it. He's too fragile for big dollars
