“I know who I am, he knows who he is,” James told ESPN when asked about his partnership with Davis that’s in its fifth season — longer than he teamed up with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami or with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love in Cleveland. “So, there’s no friction. We’re not trying to compete with one another on the court or on a lifestyle basis. He knows who he is, I know who I am.
“The only thing we’re trying to do is hold each other accountable when we get to work and try to be the best we can be for each other, and when one is not going well, try to pick each other up. There’s no jealousy. There’s not a jealous bone in our bodies. We’re never jealous of one another. Ever.”

“We played for bragging rights,” James told ESPN of his childhood pickup games. “I didn’t have money to play for cash growing up.”
James said he woke up Saturday morning determined to finish the job against the Pacers.
“I’m going for it,” he said. “Yeah, why not? Why not? One game? Me and one game, I’m going for it. For sure.”

ad cares more about 500k than any game 7 lmao. don’t blame him tho
Honestly credit to the pacers they were there for most of the game and didn’t back down like the pelicans. But you saw that experience from Anthony Davis and lebron in that big game setting.
somewhat surprisingly, AD has never played in a game 7
What level does AD evolve at?
Will he perform when he has Jokic right in front of him
Bro really dropped the anime protagonist line and had the game of his life
SSJ3 AD
You think AD woulda lasted if it was even BO3?
It’s a soft ass league. The NBA is a horrible product. They’re dumbing it down more and more to appeal to the ADD generation. They need to just shorten the season to 60 games so everyone plays each other twice, home and away. No conferences. Best 12 teams make the playoffs and make every series a 3 game series.
This game was kind of a demonstration why I don’t think AD is gonna win DPOY. There’s just an extra gear he had defensively in the playoffs, and he clearly went there tonight. The fact that he’s in contention throttled down to 80-85% is kind of insane
I wanna see what AD looks like at Level XX
“I think AD, he was at Level 1 and took it to Level 3,”
I think I kinda get what he’s trying to say here, but…
Absent context, I’m not sure how useful it is. Are there only three levels? Are there levels below 1? Clearly, James Harden Trying to Get Traded is below whatever level AD has been at.
Does this one go to 11?
What was his game score?
It’s fair to see AD as the 3rd best Center this season
>”We played for bragging rights,” James told ESPN of his childhood pickup games. “I didn’t have money to play for cash growing up.”
Is Lebron under the impression that 10 yr olds hustling for cash at the local playgrounds is the norm? Pretty sure most children aren’t playing pickup at the park to put food on the table lol
“I think Zion, he was at Level 1 and took it to Level 3,” Ingram told ESPN. “He told me before the buffet, ‘This is Game 7 for me, I’m going to show you what a Game 7 is like.’ I’ve never been in one before. I said, ‘All right, show me.’ And he went out there and he ate 40 burgers and 20 pizzas.”
Gotta say, I just feel like part of AD’s attitude in this game had to do with the fact that he believed they could win if he put forward the effort. I don’t think he believed they could beat the Nuggets last year, at least not after game 1.
The problem with AD is he doesn’t bring it every night.
the lakers dont deserve an AD that actually plays every game so luckily they dont have one
